Outlaw Systems And Graves Day 4 No Man's Sky Orbital Update
This is the Orbital fugitive run in No Man's Sky. I wake up a wanted fugitive on a random planet. I must escape this galaxy in order to be safe, but without being found. That means I must find crashed ships and equipment or buy them from other fugitives ( outlaws ) If I talk to or interact with normal aliens then I will be found. And if I travel to new systems with a registered ship then I will be found.
The Orbital Fugitive Rules
- Game Mode: Permadeath on Extreme Difficulty (All Sliders set to max)
- Disable Tutorial: Only way to get Warp-drive Blueprint
- NO Cheating: No Duping, Glitching or Save Scumming
- Starter Ship is off limits: The Starter ship is broken but also being watched and thus can not be used or has any value. But to avoid having the Starter ship in your List for the whole run, you can Exchange it with a Crashed ship you find. That way you do not earn any Units from it.
- Must Build A Ship For Travel To New Systems, Only 1 Custom Built Ship Is Required.
- Can Enter Normal Space Stations BUT Must Change Appearance and Ship Upon Leaving.
- Only Interactions Allowed On Normal Space Stations Are Limited To Reactor Cores and Ship Builder. Must Leave System After Exiting To Avoid Being Caught.
- Can NOT follow story lines (Incl. can not obtain resources or blueprints from story lines)
- Can NOT use Teleporters!
- Can NOT visit Anomaly - Ariadne's Imposter reports back to Galactic Authorities.
- Avoid the Galactic Network
Fugitives Must Avoid the Galactic Network - Can NOT land or interact with:
- Trade Posts
- Planetary Archives
- Buildings (outposts, observatories, shelters, transmission towers, facilities, etc)
- Galactic trade terminals
- Freighters (Can not own one as well).
Allowed interactions:
- All Outlaw Interactions Allowed, Including Outlaw Space Stations
- Abandoned Buildings: Can Land at and Use
- Abandoned System Stations: Can Land in and use them, but have to leave the system immediately after exiting the Station.
- Planetary Portal: Can use it to travel only after collecting minimum 5 of the 16 Glyphs.
- Base Building: But only in Outlaw, Empty and Abandoned Systems and MUST be in a Cave!
- Uploading Discoveries: NMS Servers are not considered part of the Galactic Network
Additional Rules:
- Outlaw Stations Will Never Report You, All Interactions Allowed ( No Teleporter Use )
- After attacking Freighters and surrounding cargo pods, you need to leave the system immediately.
- The only way to travel to different systems or the next galaxy is with custom built ships.
Breaking a Rule
(even if it is a mistake): You have to scrap your current ship and everything in it and also scrap the items you got from scrapping it.
Once the ship is scrapped you have to engage sentinels and destroy a Sentinel Dreadnaught to escape from the system.

Tried a fugitive run of my own, not as strict, and not on permadeath, then I got thinking about other challenge runs, and now I'm doing a Galactic Researcher run, I have to discover a certain amount of treasures, and can only use certain multitool/ship types

The only Sony published game that is excellent on other systems is MLB the Show. BUT that only happened because if Sony owned San Diego Studios wanted to keep the MLB license, they were TOLD they had to make the game available on other platforms. No PS account required and features cross progression and cross platform saves, BUT only because Sony was forced to.

Does the game leave the old grave marker after you got the glyph. Because when you got the fourth one and moved away a few seconds later I saw a white grave marker on your scanner. Was that a new one ? I hr 15min 6 secs

I don't think you have played the switch version docked for a while.
Since they introduced FSR, it is a lot better docked now.
Also, steam deck is not available in every country.
