No sound when I connect them to my PC. Was troubleshooting for hours but no luck. Do I need to disable bluetooth on my PC since you need this on for your phone? It says its connected but no sound. At first it used to didconnect on its own. The dongo is olugged into the PC. What am I doing wrong? Or did I buy broken gamevuds?
@@TheJakOfAllTradez thanks for stopping by. Did you download the steelseries gg app for your earbuds? You shouldn’t need to disconnect Bluetooth on pc. It’s used for your dongle to connect to. Did you also try changing modes between 2.4 and Bluetooth? I’m assuming you also have your output in sound settings set to the buds themselves.
@ginorrmous yes yes and yes. No sound. I had sound on the first day and no idea how it happened. Then muffled in and out then boom nothing. Should I not plug in the thing onto the PC? I mean I've done it all. Spent hours yesterday and how can I switch modes when there's no putting to switch on the dogie or whatever it's called?
@ there’s a button on the dongle itself that should allow you to switch. You can also press the right side earbud button 3 times and it will switch modes as well.
@@milky7550 oh is that so? That would make sense why it was so low when I was connecting them via ps5. Thanks for that info! Solid earbuds though. You’ll enjoy them. I can’t wait to use them more because I’ve currently been doing other things so I haven’t had time to test the battery life and duration of my sessions while streaming. But I was informed by another streamer who reviewed theirs, that they haven’t disconnected on them at all since purchased so that’s a big plus in my books.
@ yeah it was mentioned In The comment you replied to. This should be getting patched soon. I don’t use them through the PlayStation so I’m not having the issues but hopefully you made sure you got the PlayStation specific ones and you’re turning the audio up on them. I know they come standard with the volume limiter on so make sure your companion app has it turned off
@@XxlumiNosityxX while I appreciate the constructive criticism, I don’t think people come to see the video for the person doing the review. They care about the product being reviewed. If my eyes are off into space, it’s because I’m thinking of everything I need to say when reviewing the product and not directly into the camera staged like I already reviewed previously before I hit the record button.
@ that’s fair. I don’t expect people to be looking at me when they come for reviews just cuz that’s not what I’m trying to get out of it all. Just want to give an honest reaction / review of what I’m doing the videos for. The camera setup is different than I’ve had it in the past so I can always work on the positioning.
@@johnbeck9573 You can’t really go around telling others they are wrong. But you can give them tips. End of the day, it’s his choice (and he has a valid point that people come for the product and not the person).
Good video, can’t wait to get a pair currently using nova pros too

@@ginorrmous I'll try when I'm home. I thought the button was just for Bluetooth pairing?

There’s a bug right now with the ps5 version it makes it quiet. So hopefully they fix it

camera angle needs work. Speaking to the audience and not the floor would be more beneficial and engaging.
