I told my boyfriend, he immediately goes to the head of must have been the maternity department, ( I was thinking hospital), next day, apologized. I was 25yrs old then and today I am 71 years old and realize when I say I'm sorry, I just say "I'm sorry I hurt you or made you feel___" no, explanation unless they want it and also if they don't accept it, I own up that is their choice., even it it means a loss of a relationship I treasure.
