My main advice for going to Skye (or Scotland generally): Don't go from June to September because the midges are a nightmare and nothing can repel them. October to May - it's gorgeous.

Are these boat tours open in February? From what i've seen so far in my research not much is open.
@@adkjshaksdhsajhdkjhds2323 I'm not sure that they would be open, it did seem a very seasonal thing. We did chat with some locals and they said its all weather dependant because it can get so bad in the winter!
What month did you travel?
