Can we just enjoy how clean Tokyo streets are?
Disturbingly clean?
Imagine my shock, the first time I realized I wasn't looking on the floor ( while walking ) trying not to walk on dog poop.
Just straight ahead of me.
It was shocking to me.
i live in nyc and i am not used to such clean streets lol
@@m1netrain its like that in cali too
@@Lagryblunt oof
I hope I make it to Tokyo in my life time.
I'm positive you will. The great thing about Japan in general is that you can stay in hotels / airbnb for very reasonable rates. Or even go via hostels for even less.
It's very possible to have a place to stay well under 100 USD a day. Business hotels such as APA, The B-Hotels, Toyoko Inn are all usually well under that threshold.
I prefer to save on my room so that I can splurge a little on food and such.
@@Komainu959 Thanks and thank you for the info about the hotels I wish you an good night or morning
me too :)
Same here. So much to eat and explore. All the best to us hopeful wishers. 😉

The best thing about this video is that it's not narrative and you can actually feel the Atmosphere of the surrounding
It feels like I am actually there
Glad to see so many shops are still hanging on in Asakusa... Can't wait to return to Tokyo....
@Kyler Nelson 2 channels with absolutely nothing on them, seems legit
What you even know about Tokyo
@Raiden Jagger stfu bots
@Raiden Jagger HI PEOPLE DO NOT SEARCH FOR INSTAPORTAL IT'S A SCAM AND PROBABLY A VIRUS

That area is usually congested with foreigners and busy but the pandemic happened.
@@mei42na that would have been the perfect time for me to enjoy it.
Usually I tend to avoid it because of how crowded it is.
The little cake shop that could since 1868 is my favorite part. How cool, eating those cakes with a nice cup of tea. Always love street food videos, so thank you for the upload.
I really enjoy the street food videos too. Ive heard how expensive Japan is. Seems to me eating street food is very reasonable
Seeing all the shuttered storefronts makes me sad. When I was there in November 2019, the streets were shoulder-to-shoulder jam packed with tourists, but the atmosphere was so lively.
Oh my god, this makes me so hungry even so early in the morning.
Hello from Victoria, Australia. My first trip to Japan last year was cancelled due to covid19. Watching your video's just makes me more excited for when we can finally travel. Thank you for keeping my Japan dream alive!
i started watching these videos at the beginning of quarantine over a year ago now, and they started popping back up in my feed. like a sad ouroboros
Asakusa has such great streetfood. For just tfood choices you never have to leave this area. I usually get an ice cream at the place in nakamise dori or there is also one on the right parallel street of nakamise. And the shotengai that crosses nakamise dori has a good family restaurant. I always stop by a green tea store that is to the right of the temple. They have different green tea sweets and snacks as well. The Taiwanese snack spoh looks interesting, that bun looks similar to melon pan.
I know the super large onigiri (what was it about 1 kg rice they used for it) store is in Asakusa, but they have bento as well that were pretty affordable. Perhaps an idea to do a bento video from that place?
I imagine getting a bag of warm ningyoyaki is a similar experience to getting a bag of fresh donuts on your visit to the cider mill in the fall, here in Michigan. You have to sit down and eat them right away and enjoy the breeze and look around you as you sit enjoying the fresh warm thing
What a lovely day out. I watched a video of someone making those candied strawberries, they look amazing. Might try to make them someday.🍓 Everything else you had looked so good. Glad you guys had a fun day. It's gonna rain all week here in Alabama.☹ Oh well... after the rain comes rainbows and flowers so...🌈🌷😄
This is the most pleasing video i have ever watched while eating. No talking just food.
I love the street food videos the most on this channel. Seeing all the delicious goodies.
My heart hurts over how beautiful Tokyo is and the food😳😳
My mouth is just watering, 🤤 why do I watch these videos on a empty stomach

Clear skies and mild temperatures in Connecticut. That steaming hot miso soup looks perfect for a cold winter day. 😋. Sometimes the simplest things are the best (butter bun). I look forward to every one of your videos. Domo arigato..

Wet & Windy here in Scotland 🏴. Enjoyed the walk around Asakusa in particular seeing all the different shops and snacks. My favourite was the curried bread, just what you need to warm you up on a cold day.😀👍
I just really enjoyed this. So relaxing. I loved all the hanging lanterns blowing in the wind and the muted street sounds. All the food looked amazing. Great job!!!

It was a beautiful day in NE Ohio, a warm, sunny spring day with a slight breeze. Things are drying out nicely after a very wet muddy winter. Actually was able to let the horses out in the pasture for a good run. They were very happy. That beef curry bread looked the best and made me wish for one. Lol
I love this kind of videos.
I agree with Satoshi, I also love bean sprouts! All this food looks fantastic. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for sharing your experience
I miss Japan and Japan street food too.❤️

Greetings from USA! I just discovered your channel and loving everything about it. I like the POV approach.
Hawaii for the past few weeks has been rainy and cool. Today was quite warm and I'm hoping the Kona winds will go away so it'll be cool again.
Watching this video made me realize how relaxing the area looks without it being packed. I'll definitely have to try those candied strawberries whenever my next trip will be.
Wow that crunch from the curry bun!
I have ALWAYS wanted to try dango. The beautiful orange sauce colour looks so appetizing!

Wow that curry bread looked good , i think i will try to make some myself
Everything looked absolutely delicious. The candied strawberries, the strawberry, cream and sweet bean paste stuffed crepe and the grilled mocha balls had me drooling. I must never have had good ramen because it does nothing for me, I'm really not into broth. But like I said, maybe I just never had it prepared authentically. Thanks for posting.
That strawberry was A candied strawberry like a candied apple!!! My mouth was watering!😏
I had to take a break and start dinner. This video was making me so hungry! Everything looked delicious!
So many good street food. The Zabuton Dora looked so good. You ate everything I would have chosen.

The weather is supposed to get rather sunny and upwards of +10C later today in Moscow. Going to be nice with some spring moods as I am quite so tired of this long winter. Thanks for sharing this lovely food walk with us.
I'm salivating as I watch the video
Whoaa the foods are all looking so good!!
I was there on New Years day in 2019. It was amazing. The food was awesome.

ありがとうございました😊
Thanks a lot for this video!! This reminds me when I came to Japan 4 years ago. I went also in Asakusa and tried many food there. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of my favorite one (after mitarashi dango of course). I think it was like a fried sweet dough with many flavours available in the shop (I chose sakura flavour, it was SO great) but I forgot the name :(
Great looking food! Seemed like a windy day too :)

you recorded this in March and have fresh strawberries - I’m so envious - in Cnd 🇨🇦 it’s the end of winter - however - my family has a farm and we make our own MAPLE SYRUP - so maybe it’s ok to wait until the middle of June for our fresh strawberries 🤣😂 thnx again for another yummy adventure 🤗
