    He is not only remembered for his iconic style of animation and his unique approach on set, but his humility and willingness to share his passion with a new generation. In this film we speak to those who knew him, who worked alongside him, and those who were inspired by his work, to find out more about the grandfather of stop-motion animation.

    One can never get enough about the Great Ray Harryhausen: single-handedly did the fantastic and magnificently dramatic creations for decades of wondrous productions.
    Only him.
    One man!
    One incredibly brilliant, charming, humble man.
    If it was Ray Harryhausen movie, you knew you were in for a magical experience like nothing you'd ever seen before!
    Creatures the pathos of which could make an audience weep.

    Ray Harryhausen! Modern day marvel......An international treasure! Thank God for the tremendous gift he gives to us. It is funny to think back when I was a kid living in the south we did have a television a little black-and-white television and we were exposed to so many different things In entertainment, art culture and music and movies. Such a richness we had and were exposed to in so many great artist in our world. But I do remember all of the scary movies that will come on on Friday nights and Saturday nights, some of them were giant monsters destroying cities in the world. Period. LOL. As I got older I finally realized that everyone of those movie

    As I got older, I’ve come to realize and appreciate it who was making those movies....All of them were by Ray Harryhausen! Lol scary me so bad, we would watch from underneath the couch..lol

    Yes. It is the acting of his creation that is utterly remarkable. Now you can use most video players to slow the footage right down almost to frame by frame and marvel at the unsurpassed brilliance of it.
