Great video. Blurring behind the text was a bit painfull, but other than that it was very informative. I started 3 weeks ago and stopped leveling at 55 as it was rly slow and went lifeskilling. I slowly started to lose my addiction to the game the further i went away from combat. Reached 56 in moments after watching this and now rocking my awakening and i'm addicted as ever! Looking forward to more videos! cheers
Just one remark. If you want to show the location of something, use the map. People who don't know how to reach level60 won't recognize helms just by showing the environment.
Nice video! Just a quick suggestion, when you say "Manes Here" or "Helms Here", open up your map real quick go show the spot, I know most people would know the spots but it doesn't take long to provide some useful info for newer players which I assume this is aimed at.

Pro tip: keep 2 boats at the warf manager for additional storage so that you have 3 boats in total for storage space.

Nah dude they recently buffed the mobs in Mediah which includes the Elric shrine before that it was a cakewalk. :P
Heads up, they increased exp at helms. I hit 57 there on my Witch, albeit it might not be as fast as sausans but it is easier, very good money and less contested. Keep up the great Vids.

You showed the grind spots for sausans and pirates and sped it up. Even though I know the rotation its hard to know how to do the rotation because its sped up and you said "here are helms/manes" it would be better for new players if you can show them on the map
super hare method: hit level 50, go to sausans during weekend and beg for party till level 56/57 :)
This video is pretty good, although for new players who have no clue about Mediah territory, you might include a reference to the map, especially when it comes to the safe spot to park your horse at Sausans.

Incredible guide. But for one thing when showing the places to grind you should really just skip to the parts instead of the riding there and also show it on the map. Also for the Sausans grinding it would help to not crop the video and allow them to see the map as new players will not know where you are at.
The biggest problem i have with some rotations is that some people do rotations WAY too big for them solo, and just take up too much space. main is only good solo if you have the AP

My tip for grinding at the best jungle rotation on pirate is find the horse and kill it.

May i add , I personally do one thing when I level up my chars , which is spend sometimes on skeletons , it does require some decent AP , but its a good time investment as you wil lget a ton of Relics , a lot of Yuria weapons , some Money , and Maybe a chance of a witch's earring or two , I ususally level there from till lvl 53-54 .. but it's just me
not a bad idea at all, this video is just for people who want to get there as fast as possible (hares).

Great guide! I avoided Sausans and pirates due to highly contested and always PvP.
Sure are a lot of people clicking BDO videos for a game they supposedly hate and quit. Just quit and move on if you don't find it fun, instead of trying to justify your actions because you can't stand other people still enjoying something you supposedly dislike.

Something you may want to do more of is actualy show the Map Locations of the area's your talking about before you talk about them. Its more useful that way :P. Otherwise its a useful guide just needs some work lol.

new player here,I love this game but it pisses me off to no end. the enchantment is pure cancer, I'm broke and stuck on 120ap/dp. with 60 failstacks I couldn't enhance my weapon to duo. every failstack is rage quit for me

failstack ratio for duo ends at 35-40 i think. After that you dont get any extra extra RNG for failstacking. you don't need anywhere near 60+ failstacks till you're aiming for pen. You're wasting a fuck ton of money at the moment

I don't know if you have already but look up failstack guide or something there are charts that show percentage and and how you should do it, don't just try to do fail stacking without looking up some guides, I try to buy everything instead of doing the upgrading myself but I'm getting to the point where I'm going to have to start v.v

at 51 going to stick to hare until I get some good gear helm is pretty slow due to mob strength.
i recommend pila ku to lvl60. 210/263apdp minimum. more exp per hour and the items dropped at pila ku are better. chance for black crystal, ancient written langauge scroll, and chance for sicils necklace.
Haven't tried Pila Ku but I know most new players can't go there so I didn't include it.

BDO Hero i make about 5 mil/hr but im not counting scrolls. almost always 4-6 ancient language written scroll/hr. imo pirate makes more money and you can grind faster. i make 6 mil/hr, not counting coins. and i dont trade in pirate bandanas
I was today at Pila Ku with 57, I got 0,001% from every mob, I did go to Elrics and got exaclty the same but Elrics are one hit....

Wish I could grind this fast. At my level I'm barely able to take a single sausan pack and move to the next.
This guide leaves out a lot of other good if not better leveling spots if we're talking about EXP.

My guess would be he's talking about Aakman, Pila Ku, Fogans etc. but I think youre right with the best way to level to 60 is pirates as it requires less gear and lower starting levels compared to the Desert spots.
I would guess he is talking about Gahaz Bandits and probably even lake route at bashims. You should not bother with aakman or pila ku pre-60 unless you are a masochist or leveling a 59 alt to 60 with ridiculous gear. Good to see you back btw.

When I hit level 50 all I did was grind mobs day and night, it took me about like three days to get to level 56. But otherwise.

i really dont like sausan. I have 179/171/227 gs, and i grinded at sausan for an hour at level 56 with 200% xp bonus and I got 8% xp. The next day I did the exact the same thing at helms and got 18% xp. PS: both days i was completely alone at the spot, since i was grinding early in the morning

Im kinda new to BDO just hit 56 and am looking for spots to get my skills up asap (getting to lvl60) i see alot of videos talk about their different rotations but how am i supposed to follow a sped up clip with tons of camera movement and know where to go? Couldn't you just run the route one time from pack to pack without killing a mob with normal speed? Or even better maybe actually show the route on the map which would make it way easier to follow.
So Im 58, and I normally have 2-3 hours a night on the weekdays to grind after work. Is that too short a time to make going out to pirate isle worth it? I followed what you call the "turtle" method playing this game, im at 450 energy and almost 300 CP, and master life skills. So after grinding I need to go back to hiedel so I can process for the night and during work the next day. To fit this lifestyle I have been doing my grinding at fogans or bandits, since they are easier for me to get to than pirate isle. Would you recommend I stick to this grind spot and maybe do pirates on weekends only when I have more time? Thoughts? Also im at ~190/255 AP/DP
I would say stick to what you've been doing. pirates and lifeskills don't mesh unless you have lifeskill alts.

Why are you riding as far out as desert Fogans?! Stick to Basilisks or Centaur's. That way you'll have a shorter ride back to Hiedel.
As for life skills: You'll get the most "combat" exp from gathering (i.e. chopping trees, mining, ect). Plus you get the added bonus of finding sharp black stones.
Causal gaming is the best gaming. That way a players doesn't get "burned out" or bored of the game too quickly...
fogans is far better EXP than basi or centar :S. however gahaz are prolly your best bet either way. tho for a fast push to 60. id say just aim for 1 week nolife at pirates and forget the lifeskills for a week ;D

I dont get the skill point stuff people are always on about.
Aside from never needing more than I have personally(all classes 56+) why not just get as much power as fast as possible then go hangback for stuff like skillpoints and earn them faster.
Iv played every class, 56ed all but 2 and have all my skills at peek. With extra points in most cases and thats ofc not including the SP Ill get hitting the next level.
I just cant even see how people run out. I dont even respec my mainhand.
The only caveat I can make is that I dont buy all my mainhand skills. Depending on the class ofc. The ones I dont use I dont spec into ofc. But that doesnt account for much.

honestly, BDO is easy AF compared to my first MMO: Final Fantasy 11 .. Wanna know how long it takes to get to level fucking 60 back in 2006? not now cuz they changed the game now. I'm talking 2003-2009 period.. Trust me when I say it took atleast a year of playing with having no life. And all you did on this game was join a party and XP grind and change location and do the same.. The game wasn't fun. It had mostly to do with how the in-game community chose to play FF11.... But it was also mostly Square Enix fault for not developing other things for players to do. Then in 2008 when they started doing that. The barriers to entry was ridiculous. Everything was a time sink. And all activities had to be done in a fully balanced party.. Which is hard to obtain.. I ended up going with Bard and made it to level 45. then I quit playing the game because I wanted a life and it was around the time I moved overseas....
Point is.. BDO is not this bad. It's an MMO I can jump in and have some fun and jump out.. I'm taking advantage of the promo even they're doing with the Striker class and getting that sucker to level 60 by the end of this week.. Then I'll focus on other things in the game.
I went from 54 to 57 with just life skills: processing/cooking gave me enough exp lol

a bit off topic, but you seem to know what you're talking about: if I have 2 tier 4 horses and both are above lvl 20, do I have a chance of getting a tier 6 horse when exchanging them or will it be a tier 5?

My main is a warrior too but i'm having a hard time trying to figure out how you perma dash in between mob packs, i've been searching, but all i could find is the "spinning slash dash" but it's not quite the same isn't it ?

Genuine noob question.. I've never done pirates cuz it just seems so far. I got 59 from Gahaz. Will your horse ever run out of Weight for bandanas? Also, what do you do when your boat fills up? It also has a weight limit right? Does that mean at the end of your pirates journey, you will need to ride all 2 or 3 boats back to mainland for turn ins? Inconvenience is truly the biggest con, but damn i really want to hit 60 and I'm willing to learn how to do pirates properly and as efficiently as possible. I've also been guileless since level 54 so I can't really ask channel chat these questions because they'll just cancer me.
I understand but yes. Your horse can carry infinity bandanas but the coins will fill up your boats unless you have 3. If you have 3 you can literally never leave, but you will have to make 2-3 trips when you're all done.

Also, Thanks for the great video. I don't understand why it has dislikes. It does a great job pointing out pre-requirements for Pirates. This is the kind of information beginners in chat are looking for. I'm pretty sure the dislikes are coming from our so called "BDO experts" who hoarder knowledge while expecting BDO beginners to "just know"

It doesn't access Altinova's warehouse it accesses the warehouse of the nearest town. In this case it would be Tarrif.

hey i'm fairly new to the game and i'm 53, 117 ap, 125 dp, good enough to hit up helms? i went there earlier before i got a couple more +15 pieces of armor and was getting absolutely rolled. but i was also sub 100 dp at the time. basically is the 35 dp i gained good enough? or should i be trying to get even higher before i head to mediah
