- I've decided to return to my pirated copy of Super Mario Galaxy to see what else it had to offer. It turns out there was a whole other story hidden in it...
Note: this isn't actually real, due to the success of my previous Super Mario Galaxy Anti Piracy videos, I've decided to make another one.
I'm not sure how many more I'll make but this might be one of the last.
I'm aware the Anti Piracy trend is dead now but I wanted to make one more and see how many people were still interested in my Anti Piracy videos.

It's sort of like it takes place in the future when the galaxies have been abandoned and the universe is empty.
In that case planets should be decayed or completely missing. That’s be even cooler

True, this also matches the stars being red, as red dwarfs last upon 1000000s of years, possibly the last light source in the universe, red dwarfs are stars, also would like to see this as a full on mod, like an universal paradox/apocalypse
I think of this as more of a dark vision Mario gets shown by Rosalina about what will happen if Bowser isn't stopped, while also being a warning from Nintendo about what will happen if the game isn't bought legitimately. I don't think it takes place in the distant future because the planets don't seem decayed enough, but you're welcome to your opinion.

Imagine a game that forcefully steals money from your bank account if you pirate it, and then it plays normally. If you don't have enough, it just crashes upon opening.
I honestly really like the more unrealistic anti-piracy screens. Like this def probably took a LONG time to make, the more far fetched ones are just so much more impressive to watch
And just more interesting
realism is boring.
I like nice middle grounds like the Mario Party DS ones. Extra ones can be pretty good too, as long as you aren’t just slapping the first Google Images result for scary Mario with some red comic sans and a stock lava damage scream.

I agree. I always love the real looking ones instead of those with cheap jumpscares. Wish there's more like these as they are interesting.

this kind of has vibes of a demo, like to me this is basically saying "death loops won't deter you, so we might as well give you a tiny it of what this game has to offer, but if you want any more, please buy the game legally"
It's the same thing Square Enix did in a couple of their games. Give the pirate a taste, but keep them from advancing past a certain point.

Oh wow! That was sort of sweet! I love that the game explains how the player’s piracy is harmful to the developers, and isn’t overly cruel or scary! It even gives you the option to play a very limited amount, or go! I love it! Wonderful job!
i think it is still pretty unnecessarily scary - things like the unavoidable deaths, calling the first star "Dino Piranha's Death" and playing sad music or none at all with spooky red skies is pretty bleak and would probably be upsetting for someone who thought they had a legitimate copy, especially as a kid
i think it'd be cute if it was more just a very limited demo with that earnest message and some encouragement to buy the game and play it legally instead of doing all that. but i get that fake piracy screens tend to be pretty creepypasta-ish and this is tamer than a lot of other things like that, and the effort put in to it is really cool no matter how you look at it

When Mario flew to the Observatory, and no music was playing, I got chills. This is probably the greatest anti-piracy video I've seen
This feels a lot like a more genuine anti piracy, rather then a spooky one

My favourite part of this anti-piracy concept was the sad music playing in Good Egg Galaxy. It just echoes the desolate world that pirates/plagiarists are left to see.

This is by far better than any other anti piracy video I've seen, the amount it addresses that you should quit and do the right thing while still giving you chances, but showing increasing disappointment from the characters is perfect! Fantastic job!

Imagine if there was an anti piracy measure that was just a demo followed by a message from the devs saying they'd like for you to purchase the game in a well-mannered way, and then the demo ends.
That would be insane.
This actually exists....sorta. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates let you play the game for a short while before kicking you out with a "Thank you for Playing!!" message.
Then there's games like "Just Shapes and Beats" that catch the fact you pirated the game but let you play anyways; they just ask you share the game and support when you can.
