Joseph Boggs Definitely not fake vocals or backing tracks 😂 Have you heard Vince Neil sing any song recently other than this? 2015 kickstart my heart. look it up
@@orangeunderscore Agreed, definitely not fake. Vince comes from an era when singers from all genres were expected to be able to, you know, SING. It's a shame how the hacks these days are passed off as having talent when it's all digitized to ensure they never have to bear the indignity of not sounding 100% perfect.
I was born in 91 so unfortunately I didnt get to experience the hair metal era of rock. I did listened to a ton of Def Leopard and Aerosmith growing up tho. I guess you could say I grew up in the nickelback era of rock lol but never really got into them much, I yearned for harder rock.
E Productions I don’t consider anyone that’s a musician in one of the biggest well known rock bands in the world that has sold millions of albums “underrated” .
If you're a child of the 80's, you know we had it good. Kids today have no idea what they missed. No regrets, no tears, just glad I was a part of it, and enjoyed every moment. Thanks to the Crew for being such a big part of it.
+Paul R I was born in '97 and my favorite bands are from the 80s and I am lucky to say that I have seen these guys in Manchester on the 3rd November with Alice Cooper and it was probably the greatest experience of my life. It's really sad what music is like today I mean I don't think I can think of a good band from the 21st century
+OpenWide And he could still do it like he did in the 70's too.Vince dragged MC down for too many recent years, even Mick pulled it off with a completely debilitating spinal disease, Vince Neil just turned into Meatloaf in leather and lost what he once had. Longevity? Maiden, Priest, Motorhead, ManoWar, Helloween, GammRay, Alice, Ozzy and even Sabbath, they can all still do it and keep pumping out the metal. For a cheesy, LA hair band, MC did have their day, but it was yesterday. I was there, started working in the industry and managing bands when MC and GNR were coming out big, and watched them fade away. Long live the European Metal bands and their dedicated fans that keep it alive and strong to this day. The manufactured US industry never really had much hope as long as the Big Four were in control.
Because he didn’t have to move around much. The thing about Vince is he still has the voice, he can hit the notes, he’s just out of shape and can’t catch/regulate his breath.
We played this at my son's funeral. He was 22 and the Crue was his favorite band. This is the first time I have listened to it since 2008. Thank you Motley Crue ;.. just thank you!
Very! I've been rewatching a LOT of the old docs, live videos and catching up on as much Crue as possible thanks to The Dirt. Mars is really incredible. Delivering a solid performance, day in and day out. Ironically they thought it would be tough for him to pull it off before the 04 reunion. Funny how times change.
Yup one of the best for sure, super underrated, he was incredibly consistent in his playing. Mick easily pulled it off with one guitar when nearly all bands of the era where using two! Truly and amazing guitarist
If you grew up in the 80's you jammed on the crew, if your still living you realize they are 1 of the greatest rock bands ever, these guys started a culture. Badasses
@@jcearnhardt393 nope not blonde. Just calling it as I seen it. Hey if it was a women all men would be saying the same thing. You must be ugly and fat 😁
I love Vince's question "Are you ready?" Are you ready to hear the last song Motley Crue we will ever play. And maybe to himself, am I ready for this to end completely. This is the end; are you ready?
@Ernest T Yea but they can perform together but not with that band name. So lets say they change they're name to Ayy lmao they can then perform crue songs together
My best friend and I partied with Vince at a Club in Oxnard, California back in the 80's... The guy was totally cool and picked up our tab... And to anyone making fun of his weight... Just wait until you get in your 50's...It's very difficult to keep the weight off! MOTLEY CRUE Fan for life!!
I was at this concert. I had to go. Crue was my religion and still holds a special place in my heart. I thought Vince would get teary but it made me more emotional than I though I'd be. Man, what a show it was. I'm grateful that I lived in the same time period with the Crues.
I really regret not seeing them on this tour. I loved the Crue and really owed it to them to go considering what an important part of my youth they were. I was crying right along with Vince watching this!
Are you going to see them for another final tour? lmao 2020

You can see the strong emotions crossing Vince’s mind like a storm, his eyes plenty of memories and moments with those 3 brothers of him, together on the road with ups and downs for 34 years. A fucking life together. And there it is, the last show, the last song. So different emotions pumping strongly in his chest and mind. What a powerful video this is. Thank you for uploading this. It truly broke my heart to watch this, and to witness the last moments of one of my favorite bands.💔 and it ended with My Way on the background afterwards, my God this is so sad to watch.
Mick Mars is still playing dispite his medical condition since he was 17 he is awesome... He is one of my favorite guitar players. All the players are under rated....

When you are on drugs and partying hard you go numb , almost emotionless, but I’ll tell you from experience when you sober up and get older all those emotions come back x100
Maybe that’s why they were perfect for each other. Vince: daughter and stroke Nikki: drugs Mick: health issues Tommy: drugs/booze ( I think)... they were meant to help each other
Me and my brother are 17. Our papaw showed us the best music. I cant be so thankful for it too. I hate the people in school that play Rap 💩. #RockNRollForLife #MetalHeadsForLife
TwoBrothers1013 well that’s the beauty of music, it’s so weird and unique that it speaks to people in different ways. Never judge people because of their taste in music, it’s what they like. Music is music, and may it last forever.
@@kylester0055 Most rap nowadays requires no talent. It is still technically music but I will never agree with someone who says rap in this era requires talent.
Robbie Schiltz i agree it doesn’t require a whole lot of talent but it does require talent to the extent where you have to come up with rhythms and rhymes. That’s about it, but it’s still talent.
When a vocalist sings the high notes as long as Vince has it does things to the voice! I think he's still got it. I have always been a Crue fan and I always will be!!!
Johnny Johnson I took my 6 year old to see Vince solo show for his first show ever, and took the Theater LP with us,after explaining to my son that an LP is what dad had before CDs were invented. Lol. The DJs of WRKR 107.7 BATTLE CREEK/KALAMAZOO (in Michigan) seen my young son with an ALBUM,and promptly set us up with backstage passes and I still have the photo 20 years later of Vince my son and I!!!! Along with the signed lp cover.
I’m 15, I went to two of their final tour shows back in 2015. My Dad was the one who introduced me to Mötley Crüe. I’m so glad that he did. Proud New Generation Crüehead here!!!
Wow! Vince was so overcome with emotion, he couldn't finish the ending hum melody in Home Sweet Home, that's deep. Thanks for 34 wonderful years, guys!
Ok folks so here it is one of the last real kick ass Rock and Roll Bands from the Hollywood Sunset Strip . This era is gone . I was there , I lived it and survived . It was amazing ! I am nobody yet still I know . Motley Crue lives on ! The Music Biz is a killer the glam and the smoke and mirrors are no more for the whole world to see . It takes balls just to survive . Peace and love , You can't believe what I have seen , somewhere in dreams ~
The movie is excellent. As a fry Motley Crue fan girl back in the day, it was such a joy to watch. S lot of great comedy, but drana and detail that showed us what life was really like for this band. I loved it!
The Dirt was amazing! Just wanted more & more! My friend I lost to kidney disease listened to y’all non-stop too! She LOVED y’all & doted with pride! RIP LeShru!
Awesome Movie!!! Search here for (Sucker For a Pretty Face) by RockCandy, it's a great under rated 80s rock album! Also search for (Sinful Demo Album 1985) it features J. Anes B4 for RockCandy and Nuno Bettencourt B4 Extreme! Enjoy
+A Val Yep. After 30+ years of living the dream, give the guy a little slack for feeling overwhelmed. I can't imagine how hard it must be to say goodbye to millions of adoring fans and all that fame and glory. For unknown reasons, it makes me feel even worse about my shitty, pathetic life.
+The Greenman Rob Halford is gay. Priest is definitely metal in my book, and in a lot of others'. Your argument against emotion and equating it with homosexuality is invalid. If you've never cried in your adult life, you're either a liar or desperately trying to prove something to yourself that just isn't true. Chickenshit.
Who would have thought over 30 years later that all 4 of these guys would still be alive and kicking and sounding this good. Not me for sure. Say what you want, their live shows kicked ass and they have done more as a group than most of us can even imagine. LONG LIVE THE CRUE!(Yes I know they have broken up)LOL
Chris J I remember MTV rockumentry when Vince Neil said they would still be playing at 90 well Mick will be 95. I think they'll come back for a reunion tour.
I saw them every time they came to Phoenix. Last show was amazing!! They can still rock. They can teach these bands of today a thing or two. Showed them up! As they walked back to the main stage, I got to give them a high five. I have a video of it. Almost caught Tommy's stick from his solo, in and out of my hand. I was so disappointed. haha
+Allyson Hinson Thanks Allyson, I was happy to be there and post some cool videos for all who missed the final goodbye. Subscribe to my channel for upcoming great concert footage.
Rod rocker here,,,,Seen them at the "Whiskey", Santa Monica Civic, Magic Mountain (Friday the13th too!), also at 83' US FESTIVAL! Biggest group of FANS EVER at a show! It was there "Headliner Show" too by the way,,, Yep,, they definitely left their scar in case"Rock n' Roll!!!"

At the time he thought it was his last song, even though his voice was (and probably still is) pretty much shot, he made damn well sure he sang that with everything he had
I saw Vince Neil in Columbus Oh with Tesla Skid Row and Jekyll in 02 and Jeff Keith had to come out sing Home sweet Home and the drummer of Skid Row had to play the drums to it because Vince and his band mates was to drunk! very sad Vince cant! sing Live
There is only one word to describe this: Beautiful. This was an excellent performance. Even Vince sounded good. It's probably his best performance. This was a perfect way to say goodbye.

@ Alex De Martini … Amen to that … I got goosebumps and cried right along with Vince... I seen these guy's 4xs... and wow the memories I have .. these guys and their music will always be apart of my life take care
I was a child of the 70's and Motley was just one of a hundred good bands at the time. We had no idea how low music would sink like now a days. Watching muscle cars every Friday, 30 cent a gallon gas, eight tracks, 10 dollar concert tickets, and YOU had to be able to sing and play an instrument to be called a Musician....
Throwback to the times when it was Nothin' For a Good Time and it was impossible to find bad music even if you tried. And where you're bathroom looked like current day Beijing from hairspray. Good times, good times.
This was so beautiful! I just turned 20, but Crüe is still one of my all time favorite bands. Actually went to see their last concert in Sweden, and cried my eyes out when they played Home Sweet Home, realizing that it was the end. Cried the whole time during this video as well, lol

+Pam M Thanks again for the kind words Pam. I was there for these guys when I was only 12 years old and was fortunate enough to see the very beginning of the band as they started to take off. News Years Eve 1982 Santa Monica Civic was my first show, I ditched school that day since it was GA and no seats so we could wait in line all day so we could get up close to the stage. I got to see them early in the day pull up for sound check and each one got out of a separate limo all but Tommy Lee, he had a friend drive him up in a beat up old VW Bug that sounded like it was about to break down any second and if I'm not mistaken their was a lot of smoke inside the VW Bug lol, and the fans outside cheered, I never forgot that moment. I also got to see them in 1983 at the historic "US Festival" which you can now get the Cure's show of that event on dvd. #MotleyCrueHistory
+ScaryCloset +Mark Anthony loved reading your words above. sounds like you have been a part of this incredible journey with these guys from the beginning. Your videos simply captured so much from each of the guys individuality and what a way for even me, watching your vids to see them in their final act...I remember well those days of standing in line all day, since there was only GA - no seating back in the day...even camping out the night before...Lol....And that story about Tommy, pulling up in that VW bug w/lots of smoke coming from within....Lol...Thats our Tommy all the way...hahaha! I ran into Vince at Rosie's Bar (in Arizona). He was walking to his motorcycle. He's a nice guy. Actually, I didn't know (until I read his book) that he was born in Hollywood (so was I), He lived in the Covina area (So did I) and that he even ice skated when he was young (I skated for 30 years). Rock on dude!
I became a Crue fan in the mid 80's, I even managed to get import Crue CD's from Japan in the early 90's. Now its over, & it feels like part of my childhood died. I got emotional watching this video....
+rozzie101 Good attitude. People shouldn't even reply to trolls, ignore them. As for music, everyone and I mean everyone loves music. That is cool you were able to be a part of the 80's metal/rock music even though you were so far away.
Imagine growing up together, recording all of these songs, travelling the world and playing to millions of people... and then it all comes to an end. These guys have been through so much together. Pretty cool.
It was truly hard to watch. Seeing Vince Neil getting emotional reminds me that we're all human, even them. I've been a fan since my childhood and Hard Rock will never be the same without them.
Even after a couple of years to take it all in and reflect...WoW! I know you guys had your differences and all, but DAMN! SO sorry to see you go, at least it was on YOUR terms! God Bless you all!

I've been a Crue fan since I was 6 years old and always ran around the house wearing my ripped up "custom" Crue shirts and blasting their music from any and every speaker I had access to. Due to always being exposed to my taste in music my mother became a huge fan as well and particularly loved Home Sweet Home and she sang along to it with her beautiful voice any time she heard it. She passed away at 54 years young in 03 and I had Home Sweet Home played at her funeral as my way of saying goodbye and countless memories raced through my mind of she and I singing along cruising down the road or jamming around the house. To this day I still get chills from the opening chords and a trip down memory lane along with the chorus, tho you have no idea who we are I want to say thank you Motley Crue for providing the soundtrack to my youth and beyond and especially for this song and the memories that come with it.
Sparkles The Cat I was born in 1999 my first concert was motley crue when they came with poison then the following year they came with kiss I saw that one as well then I went to their farewell tour best concert ever
This was my first cassette tape. I was 7. The nostalgia is eating away at my heart right now. I'm crying.. and I'm not sure why. Maybe for my youth being gone. Maybe for those that are no longer with us when I would play the shit out of this album.. there's a 100 reasons why. I'm so very thankful to be an 80s child. We really did have it good didn't we?

You are four special guys and your music is special too. Nothing ends if, after 30 years, there are many people who listen to Motley Crue's music. Forever walking on the wild side!
+Lupe Garcia wasn't around when the Crue had their hay day. This was real music back in the day played on real instruments. when musicians could actually play. the 1980's were good times for music without restrictions, unlike today! I say long live the Rock that inspired more rockers! long live the crue!
Motley Crue got half of their stuff from W.A.S.P. Nikki sixx ripped off Blackie! for his ideas!! Many dont know that! but many only know the music they dont know the actual musicians that make it! Motley almost didnt make it if it wasnt for "Home Sweet Home" Electra was dropping them! Nikki or Frank as his real name is will even say the same thing!
Malte Micha w.a.s.p sucks. tho... I mean my opinion is wasp wasn't that great. and all that imitation sincerest form of flattery and crap. Its true. I don't know or care who the musicians are, once they step off stage. I don't know Alice Coopers real name, cause I don't care to remember it an just call him alice. I don't need to look on wiki for boring facts to spew... all I meant was, once "suits" started to see the success of motley, they wanted to get more bands, thinking they can get more money... As for Elektra records, motley was probably so drunk and on drugs that Elektra was threatening them, so they would get their shit together and get an album out, to put bread on the record companies golden tables... give us more milk, cash cow!
I was just reading some news and came across a bit that Motley Crue will be showing their last show live in theaters on June 17th "at select theaters." In my office, I'm moving some shit in and out of my closet space and there was my huge bin, full of about 1500 rock magazines, Hit Parader, Rip magazine, Circus, Metal Edge etc, etc.. And I grabbed a stack and going through these pages that felt like stepping in a time machine shooting back to 1985.. For me, those were glory years.. I was a kid full of dreams & ideas and, these guys to me were like the kings of the earth.. Fuck Eddie Trunk, I could tell you every thing about any thing metal by the time I was 11 years old. I spent every penny I could on these magazines & ALL rock paraphernalia. You know, I get really depressed sometimes thinking about life, I think I have trouble with letting go and moving on, I don't know.. But I'll cherish those times I had as a kid in my room writing songs, dreaming of fronting the greatest rock band in the world, reading my rock mags on my bed and not being able to stop reading them till I read every instrument ad, every page would be read-even those articles on bands I hated,, my mom calling my name for dinner and being paralyzed by the world I invented in my head... How I would go on to become Public Enemy #1, chased by the police, warrants, prison time, addictions and mingia, 15 rehabs later, how I survived all that is my real question.. I miss the innocents I once owned and think of the kid who's reading this right now who was just like me.. Don't do it kid. Do not give in to certain temptations because you will regret one day-that is, if you're even chosen to make it out of the mess that will become your life. Do the right things in life to open doors, not the wrong things that will only close them & cause you to resent and to rebel which only hurts you further down the road.. I hate when I get all nostalgic & sentimental.. But it's my reality, I hope I helped someone.

Thumbs up for Mick Mars, a very very underrated guitarist.
So underrated!!!
Agree. How many other single guitar bands fill up the space like Mick can? EVH, dime, Pete townsend........mick is in the same league as them.
what is his rating?
Yup one of the best for sure, super underrated, he was incredibly consistent in his playing. Mick easily pulled it off with one guitar when nearly all bands of the era where using two! Truly and amazing guitarist
Mick Mars was the one with the most health issues yet he was the only one that was always FLAWLESS when he played!!!!!
soonerfanjim Mick is a fucking warrior
Did he party as much as the other 3? I don't think Mick did, but I Wasn't there, so I May be Wrong? LOL
He did, he was just a lot quieter about it.
ShelRen' D not as much. He seemed to have girlfriends that Monopolized his time with the others

If you grew up in the 80's you jammed on the crew, if your still living you realize they are 1 of the greatest rock bands ever, these guys started a culture. Badasses
Oh yes , I drank many a beer etc listening to the crue. Im 53 and still rockin to these guys
Crue should definitely be in the hall of fame and I hope when they do go they say fuck um like the Crue would
I loved motley crew but they were sexy. Seeing Vince Neil now turns me off totally

Love that part, too!
But Vince plays crue's songs while on solo tours
@Ernest T Yea but they can perform together but not with that band name. So lets say they change they're name to Ayy lmao they can then perform crue songs together

This music is older than me but it makes me feel younger as I age. Just as you say.
Seen them from the beginning lol. I'm goddamn old
I was at this concert.

They’re back man🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
Are you going to see them for another final tour?

Been a fan since I was about 10 and I’m 17 now. Man do I ever wish I was born in the 80s
Same I have been a fan for my whole life only 12
When a vocalist sings the high notes as long as Vince has it does things to the voice! I think he's still got it. I have always been a Crue fan and I always will be!!!
Met them back in 85 in Glenn Falls New York. My daughter was two at the time. Gave me tickets for the show that night..

Johnny Johnson
LOL!!!!
Johnny Johnson I took my 6 year old to see Vince solo show for his first show ever, and took the Theater LP with us,after explaining to my son that an LP is what dad had before CDs were invented. Lol. God forbid the man cries. Leave him alone and let this man have his moment.
+A Val No one's really making fun of him. It's more of, "the moment is so powerful, that Vince couldn't hold the tears back."
I agree with you! Leave him be he's human!
+A Val Yep. After 30+ years of living the dream, give the guy a little slack for feeling overwhelmed. I can't imagine how hard it must be to say goodbye to millions of adoring fans and all that fame and glory. For unknown reasons, it makes me feel even worse about my shitty, pathetic life.
bryanseitz Aw, I'm sure it's not pathetic. Don't compare yourself. It's unhealthy. :(
+The Greenman Rob Halford is gay. Priest is definitely metal in my book, and in a lot of others'. Your argument against emotion and equating it with homosexuality is invalid. If you've never cried in your adult life, you're either a liar or desperately trying to prove something to yourself that just isn't true. Chickenshit.
I've never stopped loving that awesome guitar solo .
Almost in tears myself. I grew up with these guys. I remember carting around a boombox jamming shout at the devil with my grade school sweetheart.

January 17th 1981 was the year Motley Crue was formed and I know this cause of my dad. I've been listening to Motley Crue since I learned how to walk. Motley Crue has been in my life for so long. I'm going to miss this amazing band but they hold a special place in my heart and soul and I will never forget them for as long as I live. Motley Crue is and always will be my favorite band
THE ROCK BAND OF ALL FOR ALL TIME. IM WITH YOU VINCE
THAMK YOU FOR ALL THE MEMORIES
Jesus!.... If I had $00.05 cents everytime this song helped me through a hard time I wouldn't need a dime. They were something back in "the day" and I still blast this for my kiddos . Thanks Tom, Vince, Mic and Sixx!!!
So lucky to have grown up with this band! Mick, always a master on the guitar, .....Sixx, adore you ! Vince, always loved you,....but Tommy, my Tommy, you entertained in a whole different way, ..beat the shit outta those drums, made me laugh, made me cry and made me fall hopelessly in love with you! Thank you guys for the memories! Always a Crue fan!!!!
The band may not tour or make any new music but THE CREW WILL LIVE ON! Thank You Vince,Tommy,Nikki and MICK! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!
Simply put...... Amazing!! If I make it to 80, I'll never forget the 80s. So grateful I grew up in the best decade of the century!!
another icon band gone...Man, that bites..these guys proved you can do it year after year if you stay true to who you are..for a band that wasn't supposed to last, me thinks they outdid most of their peers..huge influence in my music career and a band I will always consider one of my favorites..the legacy will live on..
+Trent Oleksuik Hell yes you're on point. The bitchy smucks who judge by age will get old too. Like the Pretenders song title "Time the Avenger"
+Trent Oleksuik: the legacy will indeed live on in trailer parks scattered all across the southern California region!
+misterlaff FUNNY!!
Vince drinking water before singing. Times have changed. He'd be downing Jack back in the day. He will always be one of my favorite singers even though he looks like a hot mess now.
Hes working out now which is good hope it helps
@@MusaSyxx - Yeah hopefully we’ll get to actually SEE them in 2021, after this pandemic bullshit is over!!!
@@chesterswingjr9796 I' m from Italy , a Crue fan from a very long time and i HOPE SO TOO !!!
@@chesterswingjr9796 I thought motley crue retired
@@limitedAxe99 - They SUPPOSEDLY retired, but like KISS, they aren’t going to retire. They’ll be out in the states this summer with Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett. Check online for their schedule.
You are four special guys and your music is special too. Nothing ends if, after 30 years, there are many people who listen to Motley Crue's music. Forever walking on the wild side!
Long Live The Crue!
+Vance Kauffman Long Live Butt Rock!!!
+Lupe Garcia wasn't around when the Crue had their hay day. This was real music back in the day played on real instruments. when musicians could actually play. the 1980's were good times for music without restrictions, unlike today! I say long live the Rock that inspired more rockers! long live the crue!
was around when crue had their day. so many other bands tried to rip them off and get on the cover of circus....
Nikki or Frank as his real name is will even say the same thing!

w.a.s.p sucks.
The Crew will always be in my heart!

Yeap
I’m so happy to have been apart of their tour. I was at their concert they held in Evansville. 23 and I’ve been a die hard fan since the 3rd grade.
But it's my reality, I hope I helped someone.
darkf8 I agree AND applaud you!!! I was there too man. I was there too.
