Awesome decal job. That decal Job looked very challanging. My personal nemesis is the similR Ford GT. Each Time I open the box and see the decals it straight goes back into the stash.
Decals were not as complex as they looked. It was figuring out which parts were painted white, yellow or blue to match was the difficult part. For the Ford GT, I've heard it's not a great kit.
Looks great Dan. Can i ask how much thinners do you add to the 2K clear mix? Do you empty the airbrush between coats or alter the mix? Have you ever sprayed more 2K layers on after flattening the clear coat down?
With Gravity Spain 2K it's the same thinning ratio throughout 3:1:1 (clear, activator, thinner). The 2K normally just stays in the airbrush. After flatting I have never needed to reclear. It could be done if fully cured, but I would imagine it would affect the clarity and definitely the thickness of the clear.
Excellent work on the decals Dan, and overall a complex colour scheme to lay down. 👌😎
Thanks Richard
