After rewatching these scenes multiple times, this show was literally about a bunch of friends sleeping around and their issues surrounding it. That's pretty much it.
Ahmad Alramadhan ya she does, she’s the one who gave him the advice to find out what ugly naked guys hobbies are and use it to bond with the guy so Ross can get his apartment, she gave Ross good advice on making Ross’s first lecture at the University saying that adding visual aids may help engage the students and make it less boring, or when Ross was tryna figure out if he should choose not seeing Rachel in order to see Emily, and Rachel told Ross that whatever Emily wants to just give it to her cuz the bottom line is is that he loved her so he will at least give it a shot or else he’d hate himself if he doesn’t, plus she was actually supportive of the fact that Ross couldn’t see her anymore even though she was heartbroken so ya I think she’s a great character who gave some great advice, Obviously I’m not counting this time cuz she was jealous, but other times ya she was an amazing friend.
@@asiyah7714 True story. Cause, with or without the acknowledgement of the writers, Rachel did end up going out on a date with this guy from Bloomingdale's. Very disappointing it came at the expense of Rachel and Ross' relationship though.
When you're young you might think this is relationship goal but the more you grow up the more you realised that their relationship is toxic one. Even tho they eventually end up together still toxic.
Judging by the comments people are comparing Ross and Rachel as if thy are real people they are just characters acted brilliantly by two very accomplished actors .
One shudn't learn anything from Rachel at all. Had rebound boyfriends but cudnt really love anyone after Ross. Subconsciously, was always stuck with Ross.
How many times did Ross actually “cheat” in the show? He cheated on Julie by kissing Rachel. Cheated on that bold girl by kissing Rachel. “Cheated” on Emily by saying Rachel’s name at the altar, and inviting Rachel to his honeymoon. “Cheated” on Rachel by sleeping with the girl from the copy place. LOl I like the character other than that...
He cheated on Julie and Bonnie for Rachel. He didn't cheat on Emily, he said the wrong name. He didn't cheat on Rachel, they were broken up as Rachel has said three times in the episode when she asked for the break
This tendency to try to exaggerate flaws, and de-contextualise situations baffles me. For both Julie & Bonnie Ross was still in love with Rachel. He was trying to move on from *her*, with them. Rachel's interventions (deliberate or not) let him know she had feelings for him and set up both situations, where *they* kissed. He did the honorable thing and broke up with both girls before anything else happened. He did not cheat on Emily with Rachel, period, and his invitation for her to go with him to Greece was to have a friend to talk to.
@@LFire12 even though he was being with those girls gives him no right to cheat on them. Honestly , Julie didn't deserve that. She deserves better. When you tell a person that you "I love you' , but you don't , that's cheating too. Cheating doesn't necessarily mean sleeping with someone else.
Let's be honest, if anyone under the age 35 had the chance to back in time to anywhere it'd be studio 24 in 1992. I mean sure there were many wars, epidemics, and much poverty. But friends is truly unbeatable and unattainable.
This is where I started to really dislike Rachel. She ends it with him...what happens "let me end every happy relationship he has cause I have no flipping clue what I want from day to day"...and by the way... IT WAS A BREAK!
Frankly, Ross had some real good girlfriends in life coming after he broke up with Rachel . . Although Rachel created lil mess around him when she wasn't over him . . And eventually started to move on herself. This entirely looked like a woman craving for attention but won't give any in return. Unfortunately, Ross became the *divorce guy* . . Honestly, the one who couldn't figure their head space in a relationship was to me RACHEL. Love ROSS ❤️
Enough of these two, Rachel lost her sanity falling for a guy like ross, and guess what in reality women like Rachel, Julie, mona, Charlie, Emily etc etc will never date a man like ross lol 😂

Rachel is such a manipulative and selfish character
yes she is but improves as the series goes on, all characters have major flaws but ross and rachels flaws are most apparent but they are still good people and rachel is still very supportive and nice and selfless as a friend but selfish and annoying in the dating world when it comes to ross
the thing i found weirdest about this scene..... is that ross fully lay down on the couch in the cafe. also yeah they all did things we didn’t like in the show but that’s why it’s realistic. who’s perfect??
I know alot of people have it in for Rachel, and rightly so, but this scene was funny and sure, she was jealous of Julie, but she didn't sabotage the relationship between Ross and Julie. Sure she may have given Ross some bad advice, but it wasn't that bad that it crossed the line or that it hurt anyone. I'd say the way she managed her jealousy, although not ideal, it wasn't that bad. It's in the later seasons where the Bitch was unleashed.
I mean she didn’t force Ross to cheat in her I agree, n Bonnie was all her fault but after that she doesn’t do anything with Emily as Emily was all ross fault, she told ross not to give up on her n then when proposed it surprised her n made her selfish but she stopped herself n wa a happy for ross but Ross ruined it in his none n Mona was also Ross fault, rahcel season 3-5 is selfish but improves after that

He grew up in a broken family, it was obvious he wanted to work through every misunderstanding with his friends just to keep the group bonded. I am glad this show gave Monica and Chandler to us. The epitome of true love.
".....more than jewellery" hahahahaha
"Yeah I was gonna wait but then I talked to Joey and.."
I can't stop looking at Rachel's pencil erasers.
Why this is so funny🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ross: "Hey can I ask you something?"
Rachel: "Sure."
Ross: "....nah!"
That was hilarious! 🤣🤣😂😂
And btw, worst advice ever
Ross should’ve used those tactics on Rachel
Rachel should have just told Ross she had feelings for him when he got back. He would have broken things off with Julie before they got serieus and Rachel and Ross would have been happy.
I might be wrong but doesn't Rachel have a little triumphant walk after that scene? Should've included that lol
gotta love a scene lit by Rachels' headlights
Julie deserved way better than the bullshit Rachel and Ross put her through.
Bahahah rach is such a baddie 😭😂
The people who are calling Rachel selfish.. I wonder how selfless they themselves are
@Izaan ur rehman you are right..and so does everyone else who are selfish themselves
I'm selfless.
People who accuse Rachel for having flaws n make her seem as a villain when they are just as bad, they forget having flaws is apart of being human, some people r just toxic as f
russkate88 😒 sure u are
@@llnative5716 Rachel doesn’t have any pros that’s what makes her bad. People who have flaws have their good to make up for it, Rachel on the other hand is completely a self absorbed character with no redeeming qualities.
After rewatching these scenes multiple times, this show was literally about a bunch of friends sleeping around and their issues surrounding it. That's pretty much it.
True that.
Out of all the best things this is what you saw
That's Pretty much about Life.
From that description, you've never actually watched the show and only have seen these clips.
If it was the other way around Ross would've said something sweet
2:15 I think he should wait 😂
Rachel always giving bad advice 😂
Nah Rachel actually gives some of the best advice on the show to her friends when they need them. Aside from this obviously but still
@@Mae-kg6kt not to ross
Good for you
Right front and back
Aw this was when Ross was sweet and wasn't even more traumatized by relationships after Carol and then Rachel.....
I like the way rachel thinks loud.
Rachel was just annoying when Ross had girlfriends
Ryan Irwin- Diehl I feel like Ross jealousy was better understood than Rachel’s
@Ryan Irwin- Diehl Ross's jealousy was justified in the end though
@@asiyah7714 True story. Cause, with or without the acknowledgement of the writers, Rachel did end up going out on a date with this guy from Bloomingdale's. Very disappointing it came at the expense of Rachel and Ross' relationship though.
Asiyah no it wasn’t
@@honeymoonavenue5488 obviously it was
Rachel's brights are always on.
People ridicule Ross n Rachel the most just shows how good David n jen were at acting
People can judge a piece of art even if it's fiction
Mustve been a cold day
One shudn't learn anything from Rachel at all. Had rebound boyfriends but cudnt really love anyone after Ross. Subconsciously, was always stuck with Ross.
when Rachel is the meanest, she is funniest
Rachel made two good points ;)
asking advice to a girl that had loved for 9 years???? as a friend??? what a robot
Goddammit Rachel was such a manipulative grinch. Thanks youtube for not letting me write the word I intended to write.
Back when there’s a dress code for waitresses at Central Perk
How many times did Ross actually “cheat” in the show?
He cheated on Julie by kissing Rachel.
Cheated on that bold girl by kissing Rachel.
“Cheated” on Emily by saying Rachel’s name at the altar, and inviting Rachel to his honeymoon.
“Cheated” on Rachel by sleeping with the girl from the copy place. LOl
I like the character other than that...
He cheated on Julie and Bonnie for Rachel.
He didn't cheat on Emily, he said the wrong name.
He didn't cheat on Rachel, they were broken up as Rachel has said three times in the episode when she asked for the break
Who's A Pretty Kitty? You mean “THEY WERE ON A BREAAAAAAK!!!”? 😂😂
That sounds so familiar...haha
Wow didn't even know that you could cheat by just saying the wrong name.what he was obviously fucked up, but how can you call it cheating
Rachel is so pretty.
At the start the jealousy was natural and good
Later it becomes too toxic
Rachel can do anything to her work done... jealous and disrespectful of Ross always
Ross is toxic right back too
They both are so petty, they really deserve each other.
Agree
Rachel is absolutely stunning 😍
Call me crazy, but she always looked hottest when she was a waitress.
ross is so adorable
Let's be honest, if anyone under the age 35 had the chance to back in time to anywhere it'd be studio 24 in 1992.
I mean sure there were many wars, epidemics, and much poverty. But friends is truly unbeatable and unattainable.
Actually. For the most part I hated the nineties. The eighties were better by far. But the nineties did have good television viewing, such as Friends.
@@russkate88 Wasn't around the 80's so I can't say. But everyone 30-35 I've asked said the 90's
@@tiffany7023 I guess in their case that's the earliest they've really known or can remember.
This is where I started to really dislike Rachel. She ends it with him...what happens "let me end every happy relationship he has cause I have no flipping clue what I want from day to day"...and by the way...
IT WAS A BREAK!
Best part at the end when she raised that dish towel in the air and walked away. Like I won. Haha. Loved it.
I love Rachel and joie
Frankly, Ross had some real good girlfriends in life coming after he broke up with Rachel . . Although Rachel created lil mess around him when she wasn't over him . . And eventually started to move on herself. This entirely looked like a woman craving for attention but won't give any in return.
Unfortunately, Ross became the *divorce guy* . . Honestly, the one who couldn't figure their head space in a relationship was to me RACHEL.
Love ROSS ❤️
Omg I love her acting on this episode 😁 #teamRachel
and i hate her character in every season 🤬 #Rachel'sadamnbit*h
Which episode is this? Isn’t this the same t-shirt he wore during the videotape episode
Wth Rachel is so funny ♥️🤣🤣🤣🤣l want a bond relationship like them♥️
Enough of these two, Rachel lost her sanity falling for a guy like ross, and guess what in reality women like Rachel, Julie, mona, Charlie, Emily etc etc will never date a man like ross lol 😂
But she improved a lot, every character has flaws
Yes but she improves drastically as the seasons go on which is why she if my fav after chandler ofc
perfect characters are boring, her development was interesting
Almost just makes ya want to hate her inside.
That’s not bad relationship advice at all. Someone who is serious about you will want to get to know you first before jumping into bed with you.
It’s good that Julie ends up with Russ
jennifer aniston was pretteir before the plastic surgery
she did botox recently like couple years ago, her on friends is all natural
One woman Ross? Damn son you need to up your game. 🤣
Some of it is luck.
All the things Rachel was guessing about Julie was she herself when she was with Ross
Ladies have you ever been in a situation like this?
Actually women love it when a man is not there just for sex ...but rachel then you exaggerated it to whole another level
To be fair...after watching the complete seasons,4 times ......its save to say they both toxic
the thing i found weirdest about this scene..... is that ross fully lay down on the couch in the cafe.
also yeah they all did things we didn’t like in the show but that’s why it’s realistic. who’s perfect??
Ah, the very first relationship (of many) that Rachel was set out to ruin for Ross
I mean she didn’t force Ross to cheat in her I agree, n Bonnie was all her fault but after that she doesn’t do anything with Emily as Emily was all ross fault, she told ross not to give up on her n then when proposed it surprised her n made her selfish but she stopped herself n wa a happy for ross but Ross ruined it in his none n Mona was also Ross fault, rahcel season 3-5 is selfish but improves after that
You’re forgetting that she leaves Ross a voicemail saying she’s "over him" which ofc is gonna confuse him become he’s been in love with her since 9th grade
@@llnative5716 yea you must be remembering wrong because she did something in every single relationship. The later seasons she gets better? When she gets pregnant she tries dating and it doesn’t work and then Rachel tells Ross she doesn’t want him to date anyone either even tho she knows it’s selfish and let’s not forget that she actively calls every woman who flirts or shows any interest in Ross a "horny bitch" or a "slut"
@@llnative5716 oh and let’s not forget that she kept trying to "comfort" him after Emily was ignoring him and he was tryna find some way to contact her.
A lot of people shouldn't have it in for rachel all the time
In a world where all men expect it on the first night, is it sad that Rachel's advice might actually apply to women now? 🤣🤣🤣
you guys know it's just a show right? 😂
