Rachel is such a underrated character, yes she has her selfish moments but she is brave for changing her life around n her character development is amazing n is very underrated in terms of comedy

So true, Rachel's father always loved all the three daughters and treated others badly and that affected them, may be that's why she put herself first sometimes but, isn't it okay to think about yourself? If someone else would it people be like you should put yourself first, that's good but, they hate non sensibly a fictional character.
ll Native bruh how the hell is she an “underrated character,” when she’s like the most popular friends character, not to mention the most famous from the show, the most crushed upon. She’s not underrated at all... Phoebe is probably the most underrated, but I think she’s really funny and quirky and one of my favs, and Joey’s friendship values are also often underrated, but Rachel’s character is in no way, shape, or form underrated. Might want to look up the definition of underrated, before using it incorrectly. 😉

@@nenisguevaragomez8122 idk exactly. But I think since Rachel ran out of Barry, she wanted to face one of his weddings to be the bigger person, and they wanted to humiliate her and hope she’s already out because they’re still mad and embarrassed she ran out from him.
@@nenisguevaragomez8122I thought it was a good line too but not for any specific reason. But then I remembered she left him at the altar in the pilot episode & I think this line is meant to be a callback to that. Like “yeah I’ll stay through your wedding because at least I’m not marrying you”.
She took this moment of people suggesting that she was not fit to be his wife - probably because Barry couldn’t handle the humiliation of his ex dumping his at the altar - & confirmed the truth was just what Ross said “I didn’t marry Barry for any reason other than I didn’t love him…” with an edge of “and I am so glad I did not” in her voice… which honestly he probably deserved.
Rachel showed a lot of class holding her own despite so much negative attention. A total class act.
This is quite an empowering scene when you think about it. Rachel literally shut everyone in that room down

It's really pathetic how Barry and his band of merry men made the whole wedding about Rachel. Mindy obviously has self esteem issues for putting up with that. Either that or she's marrying him for his resources and is just playing along until she knows that she's in a position where she can take him to the cleaners.
I could understand a few jokes at the start, but they just crossed the line.
They made the whole wedding about making fun of Rachel n calling her crazy, some people say run in. Away from barry was selfish but if I were in her shoes I’d do the same

She isn't that innocent. She was banging Barry while he was engaged to Rachel . And she knew what kinda rumor Barry and his parents spread about her and didn't seem to care.
@@llnative5716 I get so annoyed at the amount of people saying Rachel running away from Barry sad selfish but seriously, if you realize your making a mistake would it be better to marry and divorce within six months to not lose face or run away so you don’t have a messy divorce. Also, the people that say this don’t seem to have a problem with Barry, and seem to believe he was an innocent victim. But let’s look at It, Barry gets dumped and with in six weeks he is engaged to Rachel’s MOH, who he was having a thing with on the side while engaged to Rachel. Oh, and his new wedding had a running bet on how long Rachel would last. Yet Rachel is the selfish one in this scenario. Honestly, Barry’s behavior shows how little he thought of Rachel in the first place.
Well at least in the later seasons in the beginning of those episodes “The One That Could Have Been” Rachel announced that Barry and Mindy were getting a divorce. Just goes to show that sometimes Rachel had made a right decision and made herself a better life than those two ended up, guessing that when they got divorced their relationship was heading down hill.

You are at the altar in front of everyone you know, it is one of the most important moments of your life, and you find out your fiance has run away without so much as a goodbye. As though they were escaping prison. As though marriage to you would be like prison. That is some grade A humiliation. And the kind that an egotistical prick from high society like Barry would take very much to heart. Because it's a direct insult to who he is as a person, and everything he represents.

When Amy revealed that she always made out with Barry after Rachel went to sleep, I feel very disgusted with Barry and Amy of course. Rachel was right when she said that not marrying Barry was her best decision.
Btw, why do you cut the best part of this scene where Rachel and Ross sang Copacabana close to each other? It's a very heartwarming scene to watch.

Barry had some nerve for blaming Rachel while he was the one who was two timing and cheating on Rachel when he was engaged to her. Rachel had no idea back then, she just left because she had cold feet. So he got out of it smoothly. Now that he was marrying Mindy- Rachel's bedt friend who he was cheating on with being engaged to Rachel, and then coercing Rachel for a fun time while being engaged to Mindy, he was an absolute pig.

Loved the character of Rachel but couldn’t understand her relationship with Ross. To me, he comes across as thinking he is better than everyone else and I didn’t like his demeanour when Rachel was explaining about her new job and having separate interests to him.
Also why were Monica and Richard there? Mindy was Rachel’s friend, when Mindy met Rachel at Central Perk, they didn’t acknowledge one another.
They were friends with Richard. She came as his date.
Rachel's character was including with relationship with Ross, and no, he wasn't demeanour about her job or something, in fact he was the reason about her development, example was when she "always" was busy and not have a schedule to saw him, he always be there for her no matter when they or won't they, was him who encourage her to go in Paris, he saw Rachel be humilliated by her ex, he rather step aside and see her defend herself, like in laundry,i mean if you don't understand his impact of course you understand her development🤷♀️
