To this guy, he say that people look at sneakers before making eye contact. Well, maybe that's for him. In the real world and majority of people, people don't really care about your nike sneakers. That's reality. Just go to a mall, or a mrt train. People just don't care what you wear. It's easy for people who are in the sneaker hobby to find all sorts of reasons to validate their hobby. Real fact is...nobody cares.
The thing about a shoe being rare is due to the quantity of it being manufactured, it doesn't make it look nice. Some rare sneakers have multi colors and wierd designs...or some just look plain normal. Don't even look nice at all. If one just buy sneakers just because it's rare, it speaks alot of one shallow mindedness. An ugly shoe becomes nice just because it's rare? That's stupidity.
He tried to make this line to be a cool highlight for him and for his country, but well..... result not as what he predicted. But he definitely has cool sneaker collection.
@user-nh7ke9ec7s with the money he spent on 300 plastic/rubber shoes, he could have got at least 6 rolexes at AD retail price, which is a better investment. But I understand he enjoys sneakers.
$300 is fine for a quality shoes, handmade. I have a boot leather and a loafer that each cost $300 a pair. These can be resoled and will last long. The shoes in this video are low-quality trash shoes, it's Nike, it's trash.
How does he keep those shoes from disintegrating over time in Singapore's tropical climate?? Those shoe cases aren't temperature or humidity controlled.
Depend on how one define rich in life. This can be an expensive habit to some but not to others. Some people collect shoes. Others collect antiques and gold bars and one of such items can be worth a good portion of the wall and cabinet collection of a sneaker fan etc. It all depends on perspectives.
Purchases is not pronounced 'Per-Chases'. There is no 'A' sound in the word at all. This is one of the weirded Singaporean mispronunciations. Becasue no other country says it that way, so it couldnt have been copied incorrectly.
I would understand if the collection was different type of shoe but these are all the same sweatshop shoes lol. What's in it? I thought these would be handmade ones but it's ugly shoes hype people wear.
Shoes bring bad qi and luck into the house. Well to each his own in life. This kind of habit and videos have long since become too boring to watch already.
I love sneakers. 10 15 pairs tops thats it for me. I thinks it's weird 😕 to have that many shoes. That's what woman do collect shoes. He was cleaning them like he was making love 😅.

If you are tall and handsome wear cheap clothes also get attention, if you short and ugly wear however expensive also nobody will look at you
@jamesmadison3108 I beg to differ. I did wore some crazy looking sneakers before and got stared at. It just depends which part of SG you are in
Maybe that is for him, as there is nothing worth to see from him except for his shoe
Looking at sneakers before making eye contact ! Is this called a social disorder ?
Owning a pair of shoes and put Singapore on the map? How pompous can one get?
Owning a rare sneaker puts Singapore on the map?LOL no.

Gosh he must be dreaming!!!😅😅😅😅
Funny right? He has been thinking that caption for some time lol
Lies again? Grab car no need to wear shoes
Wow!
Better to collect luxury watches as they take up less space. But it's good to own some rare sneakers too, but 300 is too much.
U think rolex comes at a price of 300 ? Have u seen the prices of luxury watches

Each of their own. There is no “better to this and that”. Like Why watches? Why not cars why no properties why not rare diamonds..
@chuenhongyu3714 That's why I said that as an investment, luxury watches are better, but I can understand why he likes sneakers.
Cool collection! Don’t see much pairs foam soles in collection, smart collector👍🏽
(5:00 an AJ1, but that’s not a Chicago)

How does he keep those shoes from disintegrating over time in Singapore's tropical climate?? Those shoe cases aren't temperature or humidity controlled.
It’s usually those shoes with EVA foam that are prone to disintegrating, many of the shoes that he featured are rubber soles

The room, meanwhile, can be.
The room is temp controlled though.
I can see he lives in a HDB. Singapore is a very dusty place to keep any collection at home.
rem when paying resale in the manipulated market, each pair of sneaker mop is less than $50
Cool 😎 guy. Love ❤ his collection.
Some of the shoes kinda like from outlet leh... the Hello Kitty, UNDFTD

Novestas❤
There is a saying. “The moment I see you want it, that is when I know I have to have it.”
I bet he goes out wearing slippers
300 is just enough 😅 I collect luxury shoes and I totally get it.
This is not a collection compare to big boy Cheng..... He's a Filipino with a museum of shoes toys and art things...
Big Boy Cheng is peanuts compared to the Japanese lady featured in GQ Japan.Grow up kiddo. Stop comparing
Big boy cheng doesn't have many RARE sneakers. He only has a few.
BBC has the most rarest shoes that other sneaker collector dont have and bbc collects not only nike but also other shoes
he's not from singapore so why even bring that up here
You should check Big Boy Cheng’s collection instead.
big boy cheng isn't from singapore
resin rot
I have like 25 pairs of shoes and it’s hard to wear that many! 300 pairs is way too much.
He share the same hobby as Imelda and Rosmah.
So he's rich

you put Sg on a map by owning some "rare kicks " tell me your joking right lol.
A silly way to waste money.
BigBoy Cheng still has the largest collection of sneakers in Asia.
Kiasu or delusional?A rubber shoe can put a country on the map?
How's owning 300 shoes can put his country in the map?? He must be delusional?
Dara is better.
what an irony hahaha
