the lofi is the thing, they are low quality compared to the vibrant colors and high res videos we see now, the mics are more crisp but just make the sound more natural its just so good

How on earth did I forget this absolute staple from my middle school years. Before I was able to use makeup, I coveted any and all sensory media that featured cosmetics. Avon magazines with the swatches and perfume samples, oooold old RUclips makeup tutorials, and especially fascinating to me was the array of fluffy brushes and how they all felt. When I discovered asmr, this quickly became a gold nugget.
