- I finally did it!
I bought myself a GS. After riding on in December I could not help myself, I am absolutely in love! This is the first of two videos, the second will be a bit more organised. This first video is just bits from my first week of ownership.

I have been riding since the 90s, from street bikes to cruisers to sports tourers. My age was catching up and I rode a Versys 650 for 5 years. It was a lot easier on my back and wrists. I traded that in for a GS last year and I think it's an excellent all-rounder. It may not be as comfortable as a Goldwing but then I won't feel like maneuvering a bathtub in traffic. I don't ride very fast and the GS has more than what I need. It has plenty of torque to zip around town and will easily pull away when I want to.
I don't think I will buy another motorcycle.
Exactly this! It's just such a brilliant all rounder! I've now done 4500 miles since buying it a few months ago and I'm still absolutely in love with it!

Congratulations Brother! I swore i'll get a GS after my friend gave me a lift on one, it was always my final form/dream bike. I got a 1250R GS this year and made my dream come true, they are the best bikes in the world ❤

Honestly the new screens are incredible, bmw make the best in the business.
In saying that, I dont miss it. There is all the information I need displayed. I have also just picked up the new connected ride nav which is incredible and gives me absolutely everything I need!
