That’s so cool! In the age of hi-tech composite materials, wood is overlooked as sub standard or too heavy. However it’s a great material because of its strength, easy to work with and much less expensive. I’m going to build my next foil with wood. 👍👍
If it works, it works. A wooden front wing would be a lot less expensive for repairs if you to run afoul into coral or rough bits of a rocky coastline.

I love it, but have you thought about trying to make the whole foil with wood, and no epoxy and glass? I've been thinking I might give it a shot, because epoxy is pretty nasty stuff. I would be interested in hearing any ideas you have for this.
