That remote control won't work in any way. The sensor is an IR sensor and it's in an enclosed case. The sensor won't receive any IR signal inside a box or this case a end cap. Another thing is the LED output from the TGB controller is an PWM controller and 6v DC motors won't work very well with it. When the motor is switched down, during stopping of the motor it will generate a voltage and the RGB controller doesn't have any protection for that. It's could work but don't use the dim function. The idea is nice but it need a little more work, also at safety.
