I see you're running pup trailers enddumps.whe you said about calculations.i took a job with an out fit where they did not run grade hub,s,would calculate hot mix by the tonnage on each dump truck.tgey alway,s had to much or too little.theimportance of correct mathematical formula,s affect,s the bottom line,profit,fuel,man hour,s etc.i quit .as a blade man,a company will fold pretty quick with thatsystem.excuse my english.that was the most chicken s,,t outfit I ever worked for.
Here in Alberta, if the job is "Highway Spec" The gravel is calculated (tons per meter). So in that case, cutting the trucks off is not so critical. You just stop hauling when you hit your target tonnage.
