I noticed you had some trouble removing the lower radiator hose. Did you have a trick off-camera? I've really been working the lower radiator hose on my 2008 Cayenne S and it will not come loose. Of course, I have already completely removed the metal retaining clip from the hose. I'm afraid I might break the radiator if I force it too much...but I have REALLY been pulling/wiggling it... I also tried to remove the upper hose since it's easier to access and I cant get it loose either. I've removed the hoses at the thermostat housing and was able to drain some, but not all, coolant that way. Thanks in advance!

Did you get it loose? I'm also afraid I might break the radiator tank because I'm pulling HARD on the damn thing and it just won't come off

Oh, it's been a while since that fun adventure. I actually used a pry bar for both the top and bottom hoses. It was insane. Just make sure you have the clip pulled out, then it's just a push on fitting. Take your time. Good luck.

@@webanon lol I finally got it out, didn't use anything, just my arm and a shitload of cursing, had to do it cause the damn oil/water heat exchanger got damaged and I got milky oil, I thought it was the head gaskets, but replacing the heat exchanger got it fixed, I just hope I never ever have to take that damn hose out again!!!
Anyway, thank you for the reply!

@@webanon955 Cayennes aren’t that unreliable. I bought an 06 Cayenne S back in 2017 105k miles one owner and it has 192k on the dash still running strong. These cars will go the distance, the only times I ever needed tows was cause of my own stupid errors like not changing coil packs until misfires. This hose is an absolute bitch though I agree, took me almost an hour and almost hyperextended my elbow pulling out that hard. When I put it back on I must have did so loosely I took it for a drive and it had come off and most of coolant gone. Again my idiocy not the car. Has an oil leak now but yet again changing out valve covers I think I didn’t seal properly or bought cheap gaskets. Not fun to work on these cars tho that’s an absolute fact. Coolant pipes and alternators, yeah not fun at all.

I love this dude's accent - especially when he says "Torx". I always say it with him.
