Princess Kate issues first major update since cancer diagnosis

- The Princess of Wales has shared an update on a “special” project she’s involved in.
The Prince and Princess of Wales posted a trailer to a short film which highlights the mental health challenges faced by British farmers.
“This #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek we’ve brought together the inspirational Sam Stables from We Are Farming Minds and the brilliant Farmer Will for a very special film,” the royal couple posted on X.
The film was reportedly produced under the guidance of Princess Catherine and Prince William.
It’s the first major update on a project since the Princess of Wales announced she had been diagnosed with cancer.
Royal Commentator Angela Levin said "one hopes" this "marks the beginning" of the Princess returning to royal duties.
I don't think people care if Princess Catherine returns to Royal Duties, just that she fully recovers and leads a full and very long life.
I agree, I want to hear of her Full Recovery and a long life....but I can't wait until there's some pictures of her beautiful face again...I'm sick of all the photos of the Black-witch.

No we don’t want to see The Princess of Wales sooner than later. We want Princess Catherine to recover and heal fully before coming back to Royal duties. It’s like I took 2 weeks recovery at home after my own illness in 2023 and i only did Monday and Thursday the first week back before returning full time the week after
@@nicolelawless9942 thankyou .. the voice of sanity. yes cancer does take its toll, but that doesn't mean a person can't walk out onto a balcony and wave (about three months after the surgery and chemo). My aunt was like you - had a full mastectomy.. but back at work in six weeks after she had completed her chemo.

I agree with all you wrote - it means more to me that Princess Catherine is fully recovered for her children and family, than to see her at an 'event'.
My sister went through this and had five sessions of chemotherapy. It really is terrible how sick chemo makes people makes people. I feel very sorry for Catherine and wish her all the best for a full recovery.
Forget royal duties, we all just hope Catherine returns to good health.

I love that they are supporting the farmers. One of my favorite shows is "This Farming Life." Those people don't have it easy and work so hard.

I think farmers face a huge number if issues over which they have no control. I think that lack of control is what leads to a feeling of depression, anger, uselessness, loneliness, separation, and more. Being a farmer is already a difficult and thankless job. Having issues with one's mental health while trying to do that job must seem titanic in effort.

Why did you choose to have more stock than you could afford to have? Who buys excess stock knowing they can’t afford to feed them or can’t sell them? Horrid for the poor animals. Crazy to overstock on the driest continent on earth. At least the UK farmers actually care more about animal welfare than many here.

@@whitneyanders5945 we do not have excess stock in fact we have less now than last year, because of the government's lack of understanding of the sheep industry we have not been able to sell the stock we normally would , We have a drought here which is unusual for this part of Australia and trying to feed and water unsold stock has been almost impossible .

She is a nice woman but how on earth is she a role model to any young girl in any way? Working 9 to 5 , commuting, night work, concentrating hours a day thinking of looks? Even our dreadfully ill grandson worked right through covid which would probably killed him . Two more did double shift night work in a supermarket. Now they are role models.

She set up the charity heads together when people weren't really talking about mental health. She also does lots of work in relation to early years. Actually people can afford her clothes, she often buys High Street, and has even worn Zara, etc....And hired clothes, which my daughter has done instead of buying clothes for one event.... on top of that, a great, attentive Mother, and a conscientious and hard worker for many Real Charities.

I understand people want to know about her health. I am torn, not being English, l am still concerned for Catherine and, of course, the family. It would be great to know more, but I still want to respect her privacy.
May I ask why it would be great to know more about Catherine’s cancer and her chemotherapy treatment? Catherine has three young children, to whom she needed to explain that mummy has cancer and that mummy could die. These are difficult situations for children to fully comprehend, also terrifying for Catherine and her family. Have you or a member of your family ever been diagnosed with cancer? I am curious as to why Catherine needs to share details about her private health considering the number of horrendous stories people referred to a Sussex sugars post on social media daily. Chemotherapy is a traumatising treatment and a person, any person requires peace, privacy, love and physical and emotional support. 🌹

I think the fact that Prince William's mother, the late Diana, Princess of Wales, and Prince William's wife, Catherine, the current Princess of Wales' younger brother James suffered from mental health issues have sensitized them and educated them on the importance of general mental health needs. The Prince and Princess of Wales' compassion and conviction to remove mental health stigma is a remarkable breakthrough for good.

Princess Catherine I think you are such a great example for everyone around the world I know I see all you go through that I say to myself if she with having her charities I say I am just a regular person I can to I have regular job but I am going on disability they took my license, I am getting used to all I lost my father to breast cancer and my mom during covid 19. It is concerning, I no longer trust those in position of power to be forthcoming or truthful with news and information that is relayed to us the 'man in the street'.
We are just an irritant when we question anything and need to be controlled and obedient.
What we have seen is Catherine takes ownership. If something is amiss, she owns it. I don't think she would allow a video to be published with her name without her involvement. This woman is genuinely authentic and true.

I think the red painting of the King is aweful
The actual painting of the King himself is excellent, but I have mixed feelings about the abstract red painted background around and behind him. Maybe would have preferred a quieter softer coloured background. But not totally against the red background, from a symbolic point of view of what it depicts. Like our King fighting fire with fire against all odds and emerging victorious through it, overcoming adversities with courage, bravery, strength etc.

I don't like the red background on Prince Charles portrait. He loves the outdoor life. That would be a statement of King Charles life.
That background the “artist” used is demonic looking. So many other colors would have looked wonderful. It’s a shame. But the royals always just seem to accept whatever the artists’ lack of talent produces. The unrecognizable faces on statues included.

I have an opinion of this portrait. I do think it was like sometimes you see a black and white photo and they just put the face in color. The face is so well done. He is no longer just associated with his honorary positions, like the Welsh Guards, he is head of the entire military. They all vow to serve him, so the Welsh Guards are still there, as he was so associated with them, but he is more now. He is his head, the Head of State. He is the man, but also the figurehead now. I see no horrendous ridiculousness in this. But I Minored in Fine Arts at University, and I had to learn how to look at things beyond my initial instinct. My initial instinct was "Oh no!" Then I really studied it. I think it is brilliant. Art people will get it. But not everyone is interested in art , and I get that, too. To each their own. Some "art" is nonsense or very difficult to figure out.
