Why the hell are you guys criticizing the interviewer? This is one of the most interesting interviews of Tuomas ever! All the other people asked the same questions about music. I'm interested about Tuomas and his philosophy!

She did sound new to this and a little nervous. But that is no reason to criticize her.
U thought Tuomas was very patient and respectful.
      We should be as well.

You're correct she's actually an excellent interviewer.
      Not the cookie cutter questions.

I think this interview is one of the best with Tuomas Holopainen. And what many critics of the interviewer take for her nervousness is actually just her lack of an active English vocabulary, which is obviously not her native language.

"Floor, as a singer, is as versatile as it gets. So I didn't have to restrict myself in the songwriting" - Tuomas

I'm happy that Jukka is doing better, and that he is still a band member. Looking forward to the Album ;p

One of the things that I have noticed, is that Tuomas is very patient with the interviewer. One of the things that I believe is happening is that she probably wrote her questions in her native language. One of the problems that she is having is, like it was said below, her english isn't that good, and she is reading her questions and having to translate them into english in her mind, then speak it. She probably should have written her questions in english and then she might have faired better.

What a horrible interviewer...he said he didn't want to go into the meaning of the lyrics but she kept probing him about the meanings then started spoiling some lyrics. Wtf. Anyway, Tuomas Holopainen is a genius and a long time inspiration. I can't WAIT FOR THIS ALBUM! :>

the intervieuwer is a dutch......and in Netherlands the music is strongly evaded by mainstream. Thats the cause of the uncertain style of this woman intervieuwer

I'm sorry, Tuomas, but you're Absolutely wrong on the evolution point.
Evolution remains a Theory, nothing about is has Ever been "proven" even a little bit. And it is Not provable.
Neither is my Intelligent Design concept. But Logic itself is a starting point and Logic leans heavily to and Intelligent Designer over an completely accidental process.
    That makes absolutely No Sense!
By the way, I heard you say in an interview that you don't want to be "Preachy."
Do you not realize that Dawkins' spoken parts sound just like an Evangelist.
Proselytizing new converts to his religion! And that is Exactly what Evolution is, a Religion without any deity.
It is not the least but scientific!
No matter what your teachers have told you!
    Please, think about these things!

the interviewer doesn´t know anything about the magic of Nightwish music. How can it be called FaceCulture if she doesn´t show her face and definitely doesn´t have metal culture.

tuomas is so unnecessarily difficult and awkward.

I don't pick that up at all and I'm puzzled how this perception even arose in some people. In fact, I thought Tuomas was extremely gracious and patient. To me, it was the interviewer who was being awkward.

The Memorgia I know what you mean, but the interviewer seems oddly antagonistic at times, I'm not sure if she has a problem with Tuomas or whether it's unintentional, since she does appear to agree with him in parts.
Perhaps because her English isn't quite as good as Tuomas' and there are some misunderstandings, lost in translation. Still, I think he comes across as a very intelligent guy and deep thinker regardless of my personal opinions of him.
