I offer yours" and bam, fight stars. fucking truly badass lines in that game too. his VA in that game is great as well.

Faewaterspirit ‘The Spirits Within’ was a complete travesty and an insult to every fan of the Final Fantasy franchise. Aside from the name, there was nothing to link it to any of the games. No Chocobos, no magic crystals, no Espers, nothing! I understand that the studio wanted to widen the movie’s appeal, but you don’t do that by sacrificing EVERYTHING that makes the games so unique! Imagine Resident Evil without zombies, or Mario without Bowser.
This version should be a re-release on switch along with all the other final fantasies it would feel so fitting! I think a lot of people would jump aboard the hype train on this one too.

The fact this story came out in 1991 in the 16-bit era (early 16-bit era at that) shows how much far ahead of their time Square was when it came to story telling.
Rydia as a child makes me cry so damn much. She watched her mother get brutally massacred-- she screamed her hatred out at Cecil. Edward was crying as his love was dying, this 8 year old girl was telling him to stop crying- because she had to stop crying over her mom in order to keep moving on. And she was thrown off the boat, and presumed to be dead afterwards. This game dude. Her story hurts me almost too much to play.
"Don't be such a baby." Also Rydia: Is so upset about her mom dying that she causes a fucking natural disaster because her mind cannot handle it. Let the dude grieve Rydia, goddamn. He experience all of this like four minutes ago.
The time jump that Rydia experienced is always such a wild thing to contemplate: how did she grow up? Were her friends mostly monster summons? Was queen Asura and Leviathan like parents or harsh? Was she able to see how Cecil and the others survived? Like a whole ass game could have happened!
Rydia's always been the most interesting character to me. I wish we could get to see more of her story after falling off the boat. Does she age a year a day or something? Suddenly she's all grown up when we meet her later. There's so much more I wish the story could have explored there

@@3godzilla3 the only problem of FF2 is that the characters that died were with us for one mission and that was it, their death was ok at best. Minwu is the only one who we had more interactions with, and even his death wasn't like super impactful.
Kain's voice actor is just so good. I love the scene where Cecil and Kain look to each other and walk out of Baron'a gates. Man, the 3D Remake was good.
people can say what they want but this 3d version is still an improvement from de 2d games. i played both and enjoyed this one way more. it has voice acting in some scenes, it HAS cutscenes wich the previous ones didtnt, and some other features that were a great addition. if u want more 2d remakes, why not just play tge old ones since u dont want anything to change anyways? give some credit to the people who made some effort to see this great game remade. it could be better, sure it could, but it is a very good improvement. id rate 4.5 stars*
The reason why we Edge as a playable character instead of Golbez is because ninjas in video games were so popular back in the day. Cid had to sacrifice himself to make room for Edge and Kain had to leave the party after leaving the Sealed Cave since Golbez had the Darth Vader treatment. Remakes had to follow this trend unfortunately.
André Ferreira, this is by far the Best Final Fantasy. I played FFIX all my childhood, along with The Legend Of Dragoon, and FFVIII, and I’ve also played FFIII as well, and this is the best one.
