HOW TO TEST INTAKE RUNNER SOLENOID ON A CAR
If you need to test intake runner solenoid on a car in this video we will explain how to do that. Often the intake runner solenoid controls the vacuum flow and this will cause the intake runner to open or close. In most cases the intake runner solenoid does not go bad, often it will be a vacuum leak that causes the intake runner not to run properly. If you have code related to intake runner not working correctly I would test the intake runner solenoid first to make sure that it works correctly and then I will continue with finding a vacuum leak or broken wire if the solenoid opens and closes correctly. Hopefully the video will be helpful to any of you that need to test intake runner solenoid on a car.

I got the P1130 code and was recommended to replace the IMRC valve. I checked it and it was working perfectly. so saved me 112$. now I have no clue what the problem is. need to do more research. 99 maxima if anyone knows..

What if the IMRC valve tested at 12v works but the connector sending the power to the IRMC is 1.57v? Where can I check for that

You check for a short or your computer's signal.
Start by checking the specs on your vehicle to see what the computer is supposed to send out for that signal, and where that wire comes out of the computer.
Either 12v or 5v usually.
If the computer doesn't send out a proper signal then you should check the voltage regulator or condemn the computer. if it does send out a proper signal then check for a short.
