Never heard before.... some very interesting things and moments....i listened to some symphonie of Farrenc some years ago, but i didn't like a lot the sensatikn to hear Beethoven ! Someone on RUclips explained to me that she studied a lot this composer and that her music was a demonstration that she knew him in a profound way but also that this didn't signify her music was like a copy....anyway i don't like a lot the music of Beethoven even if i understand he was a very great composer, so i didn't continue to listen to Farrenc. However in this kind of form, as well as in the nonet, she is very interesting and more personal, i find. Thanks for sharing this very beautiful performance...these musicians are excellent ! i want to read a biography of this composer because i believe she was an interesting personality.

This is marvelous music! So subtle! Great performance by this quintet. I suppose from the names of the artists they are Finnish. I have also listened to piano quintet no. 1 which is equally superb as this one! Farrenc is a real great Composer!

Thank you for a nice comment! Farrenc really is a great composer - and our Finnish musicians are happy to have this feedback, also!
