I love triple play because all 3 of you ladies are so creative! It's really good to see Natalie in front of the camera! Natalie you need to have your own segment show!
Natalie you are amazing. I remember the first time you did a tutorial video. You looked scared to death years ago. Now you are so comfortable and confident. Your mama tough you well. I love the three of you. Coming to see you ladies is on my bucket list..
I have the BLOCK magazine that featured that table runner and didn't realize there never was a tutorial on it as I did the Mountain Lily Quilt that was featured in the LAST BLOCK magazine.(I did ask about it). So, this is AWESOME Jenny Natalie & Misty!!! Thanks so much! You're all such a wonderful family.....and so amazingly talented. I thought it was great that Jenny admitted she wasn't that great doing machine quilting LOL! I honestly thought Jenny was really good at it, even though I have to admit I'm the same way! I do straight line quilting a lot.
Upon my word, this has to be one of my favourite types of vlogs MSQC does. It gives us different design and colour ideas of the same pattern. Can’t wait for the next one. Thank you ladies.
Natalie, you are great at explaining how a pattern is done. I really enjoy you. You should have your own show or even a Mother and Daughter one with you and your Mom.
These triple-plays are just great! Thank you so much for showing options. I also like that they're not full size quilt projects, a great way to try something out if you're new to quilting.
These are so cute!! I can see Kitty's pillow in spring colors with bunny fabric. I love them all ladies! Y'all are so awesome with collectively collaborating.
Very cute. Love the simplicity and very cheerful, happy colors. LOce your new tradition of three ways of doing the same idea, gets me creativity flowing, Thank you!
I made a 3D pinwheel baby quilt a few years ago. It turned out great. Love the pillow and table runner! Will definitely have to do them. When I sew over bulky areas I fold up some material so it’s about the same thickness then put it under the back of my presser foot. It ‘fools’ the machine that it’s the same thickness and I find it sews easier.
I enjoy the triple play tutorials. I had ideas spinning around as I watched it. I enjoy making the pinwheel block and getting it perfect. Thank you ladies so much for sharing your talent.
I love your triple play day .You all teach so well together and it is great to see your slightly different methods. I think it gets to my brain easier.
Great job ... love the way you can all work together, yet, think differently. Natalie, love the term 'fold facing' and your use of long arm quilting around the pinwheels. Misty, the pillow with the free-hand quilting is beautiful ( be sure to thank and compliment your 'good friend' for that part). The pillow idea, with the pinwheels 'out of the way' make it easy to use as a pillow. Jenny, always thinking ahead of time ... 4th of July is 3 1/2 months away! Beautiful table-runner and the thought of 'leave the center spot clear' for centerpiece. Simple straight line and eko quilting is so easy. (Thank-you, Janet.) So many pretty projects with so many helpers working together.
Loved the patriotic table runner. My group makes patriotic quilts for Snowball Express every year. I'm going to use the stars as a border for a military panel quilt. Thanks so much for all the inspiration!
That pillow is glorious! Wow! The colors just Pop off the black. Love the metallic hints with the saturated colors in that charm pack. The wall hanging is really nice. I’d love to try it in bold colors. Jenny always has great patriotic projects. Thank you all for your great ideas & tips each week. Have a great weekend.
I really love these triple play videos! Please keep them coming! It is so awesome to see different ideas for the same block! I really love the mini pinwheels, they are so cute!
Jenny, I'm so glad you said "rip". I never understood "unpicking"... isn't "unpicking", just sewing? Haha. Love this tutorial. Thank you for all your efforts
I loved making this pinwheel quilt! The size was 45 by 55. I made one several months ago! Love the pillow!! All of your variations are fantastic!! Thank you!!
