The Prince of Wales is such a good caring man. He is an asset to this Country. No other Politician, celebrity or high ranking business could make the impact or raise awareness and money Prince William makes to any cause. I bet his father the King is incredibly proud of him. This brought tears to my eyes as I think of my own Son who has been suffering from mental health issues and suicidal thoughts for many years.

This continues to be something which needs to be addressed for those left behind. Where I live over in the Caribbean islands it's not a prevalent issue at the moment, or maybe it's not widely spoken about. I imagine that families who suffer through this still feel the stigma of bringing it to the forefront. I pray for those who have and are going through it, and they remember to reach out to someone.

Survivors must become anew and climb out of the dark hole they were shoved in by their loved ones loss . My nephew committed suicide ,it is like a ripple affect that goes through the whole family .When they leave no note ,and you have no idea how bad they are feeling .To anyone out there ,talk to someone ,what ever the problem is it can be sorted .Years from now when your life is better ,you will look back and realise how much you are loved ,and you would have been missed ..
Thank you Prince William for your interest in this subject.You are proving to be a great inspiration in many ways. As has been reported there are specifically two categories of potential suicidal people.Firstly the Ordinary citizens who have become destitute and homeless through factors - Inflation for example. Secondly many veterans are reported to be suffering from neglect and poverty. Also depression caused by traumatic events while on active service might be a relevant factor. Adequate resources should be earmarked to fund the help which is desperately Needed to save those lives if possible and those in other categories as well of course.
I believe loneliness plays a big part in suicide so we can all help by just extending a helping hand or sharing a smile . I’m 88 years old and live on my own so I know how important the smallest gesture brings a smile to my face and lightens my day. In a wheelchair and trying to close my umbrella a couple quickly came forward and fixed it for me. It didn’t just make my day, it made my week.
I think that suicidal thoughts, in many cases, don’t come from one day to the next; I think they keep growing stronger and stronger little by little. Perhaps there’s a way to knock them down little by little by building a little piece of joy every day, simple joys but consistent. Joys like going out for a walk or little acts of kindness, and also having a firm will power to reject what we know is wrong.
We are so, so lucky to have William as our Prince of Wales and future King. He has the best in him from both parents, .duty, compassion, and integrity. Our late Queen Elizabeth must have been comforted in her latter years knowing that the monarchy was in safe hands for two generations and our current King Charles must be immensley proud as sovereign and father.
