GREAT MUSIC from a LEGEND and his long-time BAND! I have viewed and listened to many of his concerts...the backup varies in its musical inspiration. This is one of the best 'mid-term' updates of the backup music. By the way: Fats always 'showed up' for his music. He doesn't ever appear to have 'phoned in' a performance. Maybe late, in the Jazz Festival dates, he let the band override what brought them to the stage. This is a fine one!
