Couple more weeks and I’ll be camping on the sand at Winchester Bay with a few buddy’s of mine. I’m excited I love Oregon and I love our sand dunes. That’s all I ride is our sand dunes, (1) Winchester Bay (2) coos Bay (3) Florence is our top 3 sand dunes in Oregon that are a must ride nothing like it in the world, I’ll never leave Portland Oregon , Great footage I wish I could do something like this, it’s like watching a movie it’s so good.
It has been years since I last been to the Oregon dunes. I grew up just east of that area and spent quite a bit playing/exploring the dunes as a kid. Those dunes are the largest in the America. The cool salt air from the coast is so invinting when riding there. The sea food is also top notch and a must have when in the area. I usually go to Moe's in Florence for the clam chowder. Great video.
Great video! So glad Yamaha is keeping the sport quads alive. Thanks for your help. Wish other manufacturers were still producing as well. Would like to see Chad and his trx in more videos too!!
It's sad when all you see are SxS and gargantuan 4x4 quads. I miss the days when people rode sport quads, and really RODE. My wife and I just got back from riding Pine Mountain Trails for the first time, and we were two of four sport quads there. Her on her Warrior and me on my ATC 350X. Pretty sure the guy on the Raptor was just riding around the camp ground, as he was in shirts and tee shirt, and was never dirty. The 4th looked to be a kid on a Raptor 250. He rode the trails. Shout out to Pine Mountain Trails, too! They were awesome folks and the trails are great. They keep them clean, as well. Never saw any trash. Make sure your machine has adequate skid plates! We're already talking about when to go back.
man i cant wait for the day im able to get a yfz and go trail ridding, ima have to find sole buddies but when that day comes im going to enjoy every minute of it
I got a leftover 21 model back in january right before the 22s came out and im glad i did because as far as im aware they’re the exact same and the 22 is $500 more
Hey mate I'm trying to decide what is going to be best for me, strictly dune riding, carving dunes, sand drags, whoops. Either raptor 700r with lower and wider long travel suspension n stance like the 450's. Or a yfz450r/trx450r. What is your thoughts for where I wanna ride fast and have fun? Either will get the big 3 at minimum and a stretch swingarm, probably a 8" over stock . Il be running paddles most of the time.. thanks mate n keep up the great content
I had a yfz and got a raptor now. Did u mess w gearing at all? The stock raptor gearing 1st gear is almost useless I was thinking of going 15t front. Better for fast trails and wheelies maybe?
I just recently started posting on my channel. I also have a raptor 700 but it’s an 2008 with a lot of mods. I recently got a purple panda mic for my GoPro.
This footage was filmed by Yamaha from the 2022 Yamaha sport ATV press ride. We had access to it so we decided to compile it all into an action edit for everyone 👍
@@PeteHager oh cool I have been watching you for a while and I have a ltr 450 a fun place to ride at is juniper dunes in Washington state and this is for a vid idea but you should ride there it’s fun but challenging at the same time
Yamaha needs to bring back the banshee.

Bro I wish I had a raptor 700
Wish Yamaha would make something bigger like a 1000R
pog

Dope can I have one
Pete i bought a 2022 Renegade 1000 xxc !!
Congratulations Lee! I hope your having fun on that beast! 😁🤘
@@PeteHager the sportsman 55" bike was to big and heavy and coming off a Raptor the sportsman was a mistake!
If you ever stop doing RUclips videos full time, Yamaha should hire you for marketing/advertisement!
let me know when you do a subscriber ride here
how do I get sticker sit sent to western Australia. have been in contact .but nothing back.would be nice to be the first to represent you here.
Me too but I have a raptor 660
What camera and drones were used in this?
Unfortunately I didn't find out. The ground camera was definitely professional grade! The content was all filmed by Yamaha's personal media crew
@@PeteHager oh, thank you so much!

I just got my raptor Friday and let me say .. 🥴
I really think Yamaha got lazy with these 22 models.
LMFAO!!! Did you just say the 22 models? Yamaha has been lazy since 2014! I’m shocked they still sell as many as they do!
Cough, I have a 21…..
