It's amazing your channel doesn't have more subscribers. I quite enjoy what you do. I subscribe to quite a number of channels and I find that sometimes, because there are so many in my feed, I sometimes miss some of your (as well as others to be honest) videos. Take heart and I will try to be more diligent in seeking you out!
I’ll add- I always finish your videos but when I look back at your channel YT shows them as only partially watched so maybe that messes with view count?
So I'm going to try to leave a comment using my phone, but I'm noticing a lot of times when I leave a comment using my phone it doesn't ever actually make it as a comment. I'm also using talk to text so if it's a mess it's because the phone thinks I have marbles in my mouth. Joe, first I would say if you are not having fun or enjoying any aspect to it, I would completely understand why you would discontinue doing it. But if there is any part of what you're doing is enjoyable then I would encourage you to continue doing it. I completely get that. We always say it isn't about the numbers but we always end up looking at the numbers. As far as people giving advice, one thing I've always noticed is when somebody ask questions in their videos they almost always go on answer so I wouldn't take that personal. There's just so many videos where I see somebody ask. What are you reading? What do you think I should read? You know any type of question and then it's like absolute silence. Guilty of that myself. I don't ever typically answer those types of questions myself. Usually I go on some other type of tangent. But yeah I think you put out good videos. I would prefer that you continue to do it. Maybe just do the stuff that you actually like to do. I would say for me my channel started out one way and I had an invision of what it would be and now I've just simplified it so that it's actually fun because it became a job at one point and for what you know 100 subscribers. So now what I do is I continue to do my final thoughts cuz I like that part. I like reading the book and then giving a thought on it. You'll notice I don't do a whole lot of tags because I don't personally enjoy the tags. It sounds I don't even really enjoy watching tags. But I also think I'm the minority when it comes to that because a lot of times tags are or popular. I don't know. It's definitely a head game. I would say that it sounds to me and this is just I could be completely wrong here that you're a little down and out right now and it's being compounded because of the unsuccess of your channel at least unsuccess in your eyes. Yeah, I would encourage you to continue going. I enjoy your channel. I'd hate to see you leave. But at the same time, if you're absolutely not having any fun then I completely understand why. Why do it?. Hopefully this came out okay because it seems like it's going to be awful long. And let's be honest, it's never going to load. I'll check this in about 10 minutes and it won't be on your channel. Lol😂 Keep your head up man. Don't beat yourself up. Too bad I get it but you got a good channel man. There's other people that I watch that their numbers were low for a while and I just never understood out of world media. He's one of them my buddy. Austin got a great channel. I'm glad to see it's starting to pick up so I don't know. Just my thoughts. I hope somewhat helps. I hope you stick around.
Well, the comment did in fact load haha! I appreciate the kind the words and I do think a lot of the success on RUclips is random but when your channel hits a low point it can certainly be hard to look past.

That’s a shame. I watched a video the other day and it takes about 22 months on average for any channel made the requirements for they can make money with their channel. But I must say that I never get your videos on my browse page. This video is the first time since you’ve posted your newbie tag video. So that’s strange. Of course you need to think of your mental health first. But I think social media is for most people is something of the long run. I need to do a lot to not only get subscribers, views but also watchtime. Most of it is, after making videos myself of course, watching other people’s videos commenting on them with genuine interest and not expecting anything back and getting involved in reading events. I remember someone saying in a video celebrating his 18000 subscribers that 12000 of those never watched his videos. So that’s a sobering thought. But of course your health comes first. Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you for the kind words! I’ve seen a couple of comments now saying that my videos aren’t being shown so that’s a bummer.
