Great video my dude!

Cool video. I don't think that the term demon, is right but not even monster or creature. As he is labelled as that because of his appearance but his creator is more of a creature. Plus how the creature surpasses his creator, in forms of intelligence and humanity. I came here from Faceless Book Reviews, and I subbed too.

This is a good solid review. I like that you did a spoiler free for the first half then announced Spoilers for second half. I believe that I am going to try that method on my next review. The Demon was mad at everyone? The dummy! He is made from everyone! Thanks -James

I actually love poetry! And Poe is one of my favorites. My favorite Poe work is The Pit and the Pendulum. Not a poem but, a great short story.

This sounds like a great book with discussions that need to be had but, I don’t think I could ever read it. It would hit much to close to home.

I'm not a big poetry reader myself but it would be interesting addition to your channel. Certainly, you can't miss with Edgar Allan Poe!

You really have to do long form content for your own personal enjoyment knowing ahead of time it's going to get very few clicks. I will say this. The content I'm most proud of has been the long form content I did for Wolfram Von Eschanbach's Parzival. Nobody watched any of those videos when I originally posted them. However, over the long haul that series has gotten more and more views. I often get comments from college students thanking me for posting those videos because they find the text difficult to understand. However, the most watched video in that series still has really low views compared to an average book haul, TBR, or wrap up video. Book hauls, TBRs & wrap ups are the bread and butter of BookTube. I don't do them. I know it hurts my channel because I don't make that type of content.

LotR is a slow book and I think it has one of the best film adaptations of all time so, if you decide to stick with the movies instead of the books I wouldn’t blame you. Love that you talked about you music! I’ll have to check out those bands you mentioned! The Metroid games are my favorite games of all time!!

Bring on Frankenstein brother!!! I've waited a year to start this bad boy. I think rebranding might give you a little boost but what do I know. Lol Eitherway your thought process behind it makes sense. I'm putting LOR series in hold. I used to really wanna read it but it has fallen off the radar at this point.

I hope your changes work out well for the channel. Let me just say that I don't think you are doing anything wrong. It just takes some time to get traction. One thing that I have seen work is engagement with other channels by commenting on their channels, buddy reads, etc. Don't take my suggestions too seriously, because, after all, I don't have a channel myself! Good luck.

Channel name change??

I want to read WOT but the fact that the series has so many books, I find it slightly intimidating. There are so many other books I want to read as well so that has also held me back from diving in to WOT. I beg your indulgence to click off before you really get started because I don't want to know too much before I potentially get to this series.
