Tarn didn’t burn out his T-Cog on the regular from Nucleon, he’s addicted to transforming. He transforms so much his cog quits working.
It's a combination of the two. Nucleon does attack Tcogs. It's like smoking cigarettes while also running a marathon. Twice the wear.

Sort of off-topic, but I’m not over it: I’ll never forgive IDW for having ratchet die of- what was basically, yes, ‘old age’. Especially not when there’s canonically bots much older.
I don’t agree with what idw did but not for your explanation. We all know no bot is the same for a variety of reason which includes a range of different things from size, power, abilities and life span it’s not unreasonable to assume some sparks snuff out long before others.
Hell even in real life no one dies at the same age. My grandmother was 75 when she passed due to complications of old age including a battle with dementia, no one’s going to stand here and say that’s an early death yet the proven oldest person to ever live reached the age of 122 and lived alone unassisted for the first 110 years of her life. She lived 161% of the life my grandmother did if we transfer that to the lives of cybertronians who can potentially live millions of years ‘normal’ cybertronians (without special sparks or abilities that extend their life ie Starscreams immortal spark) could live almost twice as long as other near identical bots without being unnatural or strange. To us hundreds of millions of years sounds like a ridiculous amount of time, to a transformers it’s nothing. Best comparison is dog years to the extreme where we’re the dogs

Armada Wheeljack, Cyberverse Wildwheel, IDW Gnaw, IDW Nova Prime are a few more I could think of that switched factions.

I think this list is moreso Autobots and Decepticons, which the 13 primes aren’t. Yes Megatronus is technically the first decepticon, but he didn’t switch to them, he created them later on

Scavenger from Armada was one that was spying the cons for the bots.
in the dub, apparently he just didn't like how things were on the cons especially after sideways joined so defected.
Drift in Cyberverse was a reverse. He started out as an Autobot, but turned into a Deception as a double agent.

In Dreamwave comics, Grimlock sided with Megatron, saying he was tired of fighting to protect the humans, who just used them all in the end anyway. He actually gave Optimus a whole speech right on the battlefield before they all tore into each other. Optimus was shocked to see him on Megatrons side.
Damn Slack must have been estatic about this.
Others I could name
-RID15 Grimlock was a Decepticon who turned to Bee's team because he didn't want to go to jail again.
-G1 show Grimlock, Sludge and Slag joined the Decepticons because Grim was tired of Prime keeping him at the base unless there was huge threat but later rejoined the Autobots because Prime was a better a leader than Megs.
-IDW Mirage had a dream were he was changed sides and killed the Autobots (not sure if that counts)
-Blitzwing, Astrotrain and the Constructicons betrayed Megs in the G1 cartoon so they could lead the Decepticons but that fell apart really quickly.
-Not sure if it counts but Classics (I think) Cliffjumper sided with the Shattered Glass Decepticons to get back to his universe.
-Bayverse Drift followed the Decepticon-turned-Autobot concept like his IDW self in the Titan comics.
-The Constructicons in Animated and G1 were forced into being Decepticons.
-Bayverse Jetfire did the same thing as his other variants.
-Bugbite was a Gobot Renegade who basically lied and cheated his way across the Transformers multiverse (not sure if that counts)
you forgot Carnivac, the original Decepticon turncoat from the Marvel UK. Also I want to say the Combaticons should cost, they were locked up in a stockade for some reason.
They did turn traitor in the Wings universe
Lets be honest he had a bad day, lost his team after being sent against Galv and Megs.Also Springer is a charismatic f*cker. Note also that In the future timeline, the Protectorbots did start a new civil war when they backed Magnus over Springer.

Beast Machines had its problems, but like it or not it was the final chapter of G1.
My local TV stations never showed Beast Wars, but did show Beast Machines, for some reason. So I knew nothing of Beast Wars going into Primal, Cheetor, Rattrap, etc. on Cybertron fighting Megatron and his Vehicons. I thought the show was okay, especially when it started incorporating G1 elements like Vector Sigma as The Oracle, the Key to Vector Sigma, and the key to the Plasma Energy Chamber.
Like it or not. No it's not ... they tried to be original and it was forced and flopped.
But keep pushing your fantasies on others ...
@@UnitronOneIt literally was? It was a direct sequel to Beast Wars and incorporated multiple elements from the original G1 cartoon. Beast Wars and Beast Machines are a part of G1, the same way G2 is. You can dislike it all you want, I do too, but that doesn’t change the facts.

knockout was very mean to Starscream at at the end… i mean the poor guy just saw an army of terrorcon/predacons and freaking unicorn possessing his old masters body and he just wanted to get of the planet as fast as possible…

The UK marvel comics had Autobot scientist Flame who tried to finish Megatron's plan of constructing engines that could move Cybertron just to prove that it could be done. He also created a signal that turns any dead transformers into his army of zombies.
The UK marvel comics had the Decepticon double agent Triton who would be the last Decepticon alive. He made the Autobots officers argue to the point that one of them were killed but afterwards he was killed in the argument that would escalate into another war. The Autobots too busy fighting to notice that the blast that killed Triton also caused Triton's Decepticon symbol to be revealed.

Okay in my opinion, the worst transformer toy to ever be made would be the Star Wars Crossover Millennium Falcon. This is because of the brownish material it was made from was so brittle that if you were to move it at all it would shatter into a million pieces. Thanks for the awesome video! I loved it! My favorite turncoat in the video would probably be Deadlock/Drift. Really cool story.

There was also Wheeljack from Transformers Armada. Maybe Scavenger and Starscream from that same series; but I'm not sure if Scavenger was a traitor or a double agent kind of situation while Starscream was either betrayed or abandoned by the Decepticons and joined up with the Autobots.
Scavenger was revealed to be Optimus Prime's double agent in the episode "Conspiracy"

Maybe you should make a video on Decepticons reacting to Megatron becoming an Autobot, imagine some of them being dismayed, furious, disappointed, and not to mention resentful as well!!

Drift from Cyberverse was seen defwcting from the decepticons in one of Bumblebee's flashbacks, but ends actually a double agent and dying after a fight with Hotrod.
Say, anyone have an opinion on every time humanity has battled the Autobots? There’s of course single occasions such as when the Decepticons trick humanity in the G1 Cartoon to think the Autobots are actually evil as well as when MECH used Nemesis Prime to pit the military against the Autobots in the Aligned Continuity. Also there are the times when the Joes first encounter the Transformers.
But then there are the more large scale fights. In the Marvel Comics, the government forms an organization called RAAT that assumes there are no factions and that all robots are the enemy. Humanity ironically keeps getting in the way of the Autobots when they’re protecting them until the Decepticons tell RAAT themselves that there are two sides in the war. Then there’s the movies where despite the Autobots and NEST working together for years, the world turns against the Autobots after Chicago. Granted in Age of Extinction, everyone assumes Cemetery Wind is only going after Decepticons due to the Autobots going underground, but the TRF clearly doesn’t give a damn about factions. It takes the threat of Cybertron for the two sides to work together again. Earthspark has GHOST play nice with the Autobots, but actually plan to wipe out all Transformers. Thankfully not every member is on board and some help out the Autobots and Decepticons in the final battle.
And then there is IDW. They give humanity some sympathetic reasons for their distrust such as how the Decepticons actually ran rampant across Earth for some time and Optimus Prime annexing Earth into the Council of Worlds without talking with the planet, but not every reason holds up. There’s Jazz killing a cop which ignores the fact the cop was holding a group of Autobots at gunpoint or that the EDC sides with the Decepticons after they learn Megatron became an Autobot despite the fact it was the Autobots that saved Earth from the Decepticons. Earth eventually joins the Council of Worlds willingly, but we never see the Transformers make any progress in changing the minds of humanity until Soundwave cries for Mainframe’s death in the Unicron arc. It’s like a switch was flipped on Transformer-Earth relations because of Unicron instead of the Transformers winning over humanity. What really annoys me is that in First Strike, humans invade Cybertron to commit genocide. G.I.Joe follows this group to stop them only to be detained by Starscream who thinks all humans are a threat. Marissa Faireborn counters by pointing out not all humans are against Cybertron and Scarlett is frustrated that politics are putting Cybertron at risk, but no one points out the irony of the situation, of how this is pretty much what the Autobots undergo on Earth thanks to the Decepticons. Seriously, missed opportunity to show the similarities between Cybertronians and Humans. Usually Optimus is trying to convince his Autobots that they share traits with Organics, but it feels like he has to do the opposite in the IDW Comics.

Technically Dreadwing from Prime betrayed the Decepticons when he game Optimus the forge then went back to the ship to off Starscream for what happened to Skyquake...when Megatron killed him.

Prime Dreadwing, Airachnid, Starscream, Knockout, Hardshell (and all the insecticons), Breakdown, and Optimus... Are all turncoats and traitors in some way or another.

Everything you said about why Megatron defected in Earthspark was wrong. He did not defect because of the Terrans--he defected long before the Terrans were born because Optimus Prime (and Dorothy Malto) convinced him somehow.
Clouder from Masterforce should be included in this video... and basically along with the most Destron in that series.

I’ve watched most of every Transformers media, and somehow they don’t have Deadlock(they might have and never noticed) in ANY of them. This my first time hearing about him and he’s a real Decepticon through and through. Imagine if Megatron gave this bot the reigns😂😂😂 he would redefine the term for terror
