Congratulations!! You might want to consider filming the home build. People (I) will watch.
Agreed.
Agreed
we are agreed on that build vids are great too
congratulations on your move. wish you guys the best in your new home.
That was slick geting the truck back to the trailer !
I don't get surprised much, but I have to say from watching your videos I can truly say you do things with a winch that surprised me. I'm impressed!
Yeah he definitely understands the pulling laws and physics
Got Jeep stuck in sticky bog E side of Blanca Peak, CO. Recruited 6 buddies/6 newer 4X4’s, got all 7 stuck then unstuck over 3 hrs. One of Magnificent 7 felt obligated to tame stinky bog: all 7 stuck again. This happened 3 times over 8 hours. Figured way conquer bog was speed: 60+ mph, hydroplane. All 7 made it! In aftermath, with undercarriage caked with Elmer’s pungent glue, 3 guys sold their rigs after stench clung to neighborhood, like the dark stains on Trump’s personality or Biden’s presidency.
As soon as the explanation is longer than the recovery you know they screwed up. Everybody wants to explain what they were thinking, but that’s what got them in trouble in the first place😂
🤣
We were going to leave the section of video in
Where the customer told us what happen
But it annoyed me because like 4 people
We’re talking at the same time
So we deleted that section
@@OffRoadRecoveryLLC damn so wish you would have cause they definitely weren't thinking on this one for sure 😂😂😂
Congrats on the new house! Hopefully Arkansas will give you the amount of work that you need to support the family! Good luck with it!
Glad you are back. Hope nothing serious kept you from posting videos.
No lockers, street tires not aired down, and 12000 lbs total weight. What could go wrong?
Oh, I see.... Arkansas.
Airing down that wheel/tire combo would have just led to de-beading super fast. They are not an off road capable setup. Another case of form over function.
Street tires don't like the mud and muck. Airing them down would most likely result in tire failure.
LOL absolutely
TBH, Arkansas has some of the baddest off-roaders with customs....just not this truck/trailer.
It happens in the dry desert as well and in the wet or snowy mountains also. Bloop tube is FULL of videos similar to this that aren't in Arkansas.
Once again. Great video. I know the longer videos probably take more time but I do really like them. I hope it’s worth it on your end. Not only are these videos entertaining but I learn a little something. I’m building my truck now and it certainly gonna have a winch.but I have saved your information in case I ever need you. Thank you.
We like to cut out all the boring 🥱 fluff stuff
And we get straight to work so it’s not that we don’t like longer videos
We just get the jobs done too quickly to make a longer videos
Good luck to you and your family in your relocation. Look forward to more content from you.
Great video and rescue, man you work that winch hard, but it keeps going!
Greets from Romania ❤️🇷🇴
So smart to get out of crowded spaces and more to an area with different values. Smart man!
Congrats on the move!! I like the way you work and that your family is there to support you!
Can I just say that I love that you default 2:1 then 1:1! Good job
Your knowledge in recovery is impressive.thanks for the great content.
Your message at the end on why you moved is inspiring. Thank you for sharing that.
I'm glad you are all ok. Good life choice for the future of your family and business.
Best of luck and look forward to seeing you more often soon..
Looks like a nice campsite, except you would track a lot of mud in the trailer.
history channel has the Swamp People.
discovery channel has the Alaskan Bush People.
there probably is room for these Mud People.
I left the 904 area too. Too many yanks moving in. Congrats.
They are ruining FL. I'm so tired of well in NY it's.... Stfu and go back.
Huge congratulations on the move. So important to live where you want to live and have a good life. We don't look back and gee whiz life was good because it was easy to make money and Costco and Walmart made my things convenient. We look at all the adventures and fun times spent not doing mundane every day things.
Excited for you and your family!
Congratulations on your move. I can definitely understand the move from Florida, I made a move from S.E. GA. 14 years ago. The area I was in started going bad for me.
Congratulations on your move. I agree the thought process about moving and family is a good one. Good video.
Congratulations. Best wishes on your move and restarting business. Starting a new business in a new location is a challenge for sure. I’m looking forward to your next venture!
Arkansas is a great part of the country. We go to Hot Springs and Heber Springs all the time. You should definitely vlog the homestead build! Open your channel up to a whole additional stream of viewers. Congrats to you and yours, staying tuned for more!
Happy to keep following your journey. Enjoying from Costa Rica 🇨🇷
Congratulations to you and your family. I move to a small town in town from Dallas. Never looked back.
Congratulations on the move, wish all the best for you and the fam. 👍
Nice to see family comes first, I hope it all works out for you ang your family and btw i am in love with your JEEP its amazing 👍👍👍
I wish you all the best! The way you work, I don't think it will be a problem to hit the ground running.
Hey Matt & Family !!1 ""CONGRATS" on the "NEW"" Home location & Thanks for the video & Expo. of what's going on !!! 😂🙂🙃😉👍👍👍👍👍 Didn't see the ""BRONCO ""?? 🤔🙄
I've missed you guys, great video as always.
Congratulations on the new house and fresh new life. I can't blame you for getting away from all those people. I live in a small farming town in N.C. "2500-3000" people" & that's plenty big.
Our closes neighbor is probably 1/2 mile away, i wouldn't have one any closer.
I'll bet the taxes are a lot cheaper than Florida too.
I love seeing what you do with little or nothing. Keep up the awesome job.
Little in the way of gear......ALOT in the way of logic, reason and experience!
Congrats with the move! Sounds like a fantastic decision to me. Hope things will work out great for you guys.
Thanks for the update! Exciting new chapter. BTW, your subsribers would probably watch housebuilding and homesteading videos of your new setup in the meantime!
Thanks for the idea!
Awesome dude. Congratulations on the new house! Best wishes.
GREAT! I am looking forward to this. Love the details too.
That was some awesome skill right there Sir! Love the channel! Hope the move is a great one for you and the family. Your Jeep setup is Awesome! Preciate Ya!🙏🏻🇺🇸💯🤙🏻
Very well done! You make it look easy to pull them out and I know how hard mud-recoveries are! Great decision to move with your family - the best thing you can do for kids is to put them out of the city and away from (to much) people!
I admire your dedication to your family, and self. I dream about doing what y’all are, everyday…Good luck to ya!🤘
I hope to see you out there one day…
We understand Brother.
great that ur back . hope the move works out well.
Never seen the tire chalks to bumper setup. Very interesting
towtrucks use that setup for years
Those rear tire chocks work great! You got a link to pick up a set of those...? Those would work great in our Utah snow!
Hey there brother another absolutely amazing content/rescue!! I will stand flat footed and give you my absolute honest opinion! That Rig of yours (NEVER Ceases To Amaze) let alone the winch, my gosh brother between your rig and your knowledge/skill man you got it goin on!! Congrats on your move!!
We are getting some frost in the ground next week really helps in getting stuff out .
Plus, a better life for you and your family. We wish you all the best. I'm glad you're doing well. The house looks like it's going to be beautiful.
🤝🤝🤝🇺🇸🇺🇸
Awesome homestead living you might have just become my favorite channel
Wife and I are newly empty nesters and we live in town now it was out in the country when we moved here but not so much anymore we are moving over by Silom Springs AR but still on the OK side
glad you were in florida when i needed help. Wishing you well... take care of those kids.
That Warn winch really took a workout, great work !
Good luck with your new chapter in life, hope it turns out good for all including the miniature cows and the nuggets.
I still dont understand how car companies advertise 4x4 but dont put lockers in...your only in 2WD without a locker. Granted its better than the 1-wheel-peel, but come on!
The later model superduty should have a rear differentials lock on the 2whl/4whl selector know. You just pull the knob straight out after you put it in 4whl low. I have had it on all of my 2011 and newer superduty 4whl drives.
I tell people that all the time and they look at me like I’m stupid! “ But it says 4x4 on the side”.
I have been watching you for a while now. And now you are a neighbor. Well, at least I live in Arkansas too, about 150 miles from you. Can't wait for more video from you.
Welcome to Arkansas. I’ve been watching you for awhile from Batesville, not too far from Clinton. It’s not perfect, (nowhere is) but it is a good place to raise a family. The critters and pests are different from Florida, but people are the same everywhere, just a little different mix in places. I hope you come to love Arkansas as much as we have since we moved here in 1975.
Kool...Best go luck! Great decision
Wow, that looks like a pretty over estimation of truck capability. I have seen people stuck in somewhat similar situations in early spring, rolling in when the ground is frozen solid and a nice warm day later ground is sloppy mud park.... but this just looks like guy was trying to win the bounty hole purse.
What is the duty cycle on a Warn 12 Platinum? Till it's unstuck! 😂😂 Y'all keep doing you and we will be here when the videos return. Prayers and God's blessings. 🙏🙏🏼🙏🏻
Exactly right on the duty cycle 🤣 can’t say I don’t put them to the test
Always carry a paper map that does recreation by Rand McNally
It never fails to amaze me how you tell people not to spin their tires an yet smooth tires in md like ice on ice !!!
Hey maybe next time here’s a little trick for reconnecting stuff. Make a triangle with clevis’ and use a loop sling. Pull from one side. Depends on the two pieces obviously but in this case. Clevis on the truck chain point. Clevis on the trailer chain close to trailer. Loop sling through both. If you have trouble getting them together. Use an anchor on the other side you’re winching from and make a loop between clevis’. As you pull it will pull the two pieces together close enough to then just winch one or the other and connect when in line. Very heavy equipment technique, compliments of Uncle Sam.
Congratulations Matt on your move to a new home. I look forward to your videos because they are informative and entertaining. I also respect your honesty when it comes to products. We have no one in the UK who provides so much information as to why and how you tackle a job in the way you do.
Best wishes to you and your family.
That freakin jeep amazes me in every video. I keep waiting for it to get stuck but it just crawls right through like it’s nothing.
Im amazed that you pulled it off. I thiught that the trailers axles would tear off as they were deep in the mud. Ive seen videis of that happpening to vehicles that were buried in water & mud
Your rig is amazing
Congratulations on getting out of Florida. I live in Loxahatchee, Florida and it's getting way to crowded and expensive. Looking at Tennessee in the near future.
Good luck with your move north. We did something similar for our kids. 🇺🇸🇬🇧
Hmmm, large heavy combo with street rubber, what we’re they thinking! ?.
All the best on your move !
Once owned a modified 1964 Scout and hadn't seen a more durable 4x4 when not having to work on the clutch master cylinder much of the time. But, the Jeep truck shown on this channel is really good advertising for Jeep. It should be interesting to see when it gets used more in the mountains also because the swamp and mud work is impressive.
Looking forward to more vids, keep up the great work.
The reason I falow you is because your a family man and thank you for all of your grate videos
I saw a regular tow truck years ago pulling a truck and trailer very similar to this situation here. It was the first time I saw wheel chocks chained to the truck frame. His set-up went straight up to the truck frame to an eye-bolt right behind the chock. If the truck tries to go over the wheel chock, the chain won't allow it. It would have to drag the chock and truck wheel, which will dig into the ground more. Very solid way of making the truck an anchor point for winching.
Yes, we actually bought the blocks from an old wrecker company who had an old wrecker no longer in use
Then we made a bigger version of them at the shop
You're recovery skills are just epic brother... Not to mention your choices of equipment and setup... Most importantly I admire the humility both you and your wife display... I don't have to ask,, as for it truly shows through the both of you, that you are true Christian believers, and are truly Blessed... Thank you Jesus Christ our true Lord and Savior, Amen, amen...
So good to see your videos again.
I feel you are The Master Of Mud Recovery!! Good Show Mate 🍻
Badass bro....good luck out there
I really like the way he has his jeep set up it seems to be super efficient
Congrads on the move!! Good decision to get ur kids outta that enviornment...but they will follow you, eventually & it'll be the same....at some point..
Keep the action coming & yah more on the house build would be cool...loyal viewers get to where we wanna see your happenings more..not just work...but you do what works for you..I'll watch!?
Im fairly impressed with the warn winch I was expecting after the third pull the winch would say its last goodbye .
That guy in the ford should just stick with camp grounds with tar / solid pack. That truck isn’t for off road use. Great video thank you
Oh, there you are we have been looking for you. (:
One thing I noticed is his back tires both not spinning. If you pull the 4x4 switch it locks the rear end into positraction
That ol boy really liked talking.
He's a village idiot. He said it's not his first rodeo ( 3:04 ), yet there he was stuck in the mud.
You did a awesome job on getting them out of there
Don't know if new updates to on x have changed things or not, but you used to be able to use on x to make contact with other on x apps with out cell service as well
Subbed. Y'all are good at this
Good job. I have Badland 12000 winch and heats up within 3-4 feet of pulling and stops. Anything I can replace without having to buy a new winch? Good luck in Arkansas
Looking forward to hopefully crossing paths and saying hello one of these days now that you are in Arkansas.
Whatever those wheel chock or whatever things are, that's incredible!
Never fails, 99% of the time, the trailer will always be unhooked.
Get a little 12 volt fan under the back of that Jeep to keep the winch motor cool bcuz I know that baby gotta get mighty warm with those long pulls…..that’s a sweet rig!
Best of luck to you and your family in Arkansas!
Once I saw they where either the F250 or F350 I knew those heavy jokers sunk plus once I seen the camper some what set up they said fudge it and stayed there till backup showed up
You’re damn good at what you do!!!
Where did this recovery take place? The flat-as-a-pancake pine plantation looks more like Florida than N. Arkansas. Though I recall some pine plantations around Pine Bluff.
both of the stuck trucks had florida plates. likely a few months old footage that's just now getting edited
Nicely done sir
That’s incredible what that jeep can do! Very impressive!
The off road park in Hot Springs is one of the best private parks in the county. You should check it out if you haven't already.
Yes, we plan on making it down there at some point it’s about 2 hours from us
Welcome to Arkansas !! ,,, I am in SW Ark abt 50 miles north of Texarkana ( Nashville Ark ) ,,,
Missed your videos but congratulations to you and your family. I’d even watch your building adventure because it is how you tell the story that counts. You do a great job. Darryl
Stupid suggestion
I think when pulling on soft sand (mud), 2 pulling points should be mounted on the lowest point of the frame 3/5 from the rear. A rope should then be connected in a "V" shape to the lowest secure towing point on the vehicle to be towed.
This should assure all 4 wheels will be able to grip the sand/mud with equal digging force, and the towed vehicle should rise in the sand.
Of course, ropes should not be allowed it tangle so you could use additional soft shackles to guide them.
Thanks
Marc Richter
Video the home build we will watch that too!
Finding solid ground looks harder than gold mining 😊
