The thing that always makes me laugh is when The people from Keurig attempted to be greedy by putting a digital rights management reader in the coffee makers and then say that the machine reads the lid for temperature info and the type of coffee which they actually don't do any of that stuff. That k-cup reader in the 2.0 is only for to see if the user is using an approved k-cup and not a cup from a competitor, THE KEURIG MANUFACTURERS ARE SNEAKY and pretty much greedy for everybody's money.
Remove the base from the My K Cup. It comes pre-attached and doesn't appear to be able to be removed, but it can, especially after removing the sticker that has small instructions on it. After removing the base, the My K Cup does not snap into the Keurig and that's normal...it can move a bit when attached properly. Hope that helps!
Yeah on sale to the 27th but QVC model came with 80 kcups costco doesn't. I have the one sold walmart for $59 but thinking of upgrading. Only use it for hot coco and water for instant oatmeal
what a baloney about flavor... this is not the only way of controlling flavor by manipulating with the amount of water but also with the amount of coffee itself in the inset.... .. but of course... they want to sell more and more, so encouraging to use max amount of coffee...

Can you recycle the k-cups?
Yes you can. On the box it says rip the paper completely off the top, get rid of the coffee grounds, rinse and put in the recycle bin.
