Thanks Polly for this tutorial of a true step by step that shows each step. I found this from another person first. The other didn’t show the step and it was hard to understand the other one. I don’t know how many times I had to replay one step. Something I didn’t have to do with yours. I wish others would watch you and learn how to do a tutorial. I wish you could do others that are hard to catch the step and to understand. Also the others that don’t have English Translation for there patterns. There are so many out there that are really good patterns but don’t have transportation. Thank you again !

THANK YOU for making this so easy! I read the pattern and consider myself on the 'expert' level of crochet work and I just couldn't wrap my head around this one! You sure made my day!!
Thank you so much for your brilliant video ,so easy to follow first time doing it and I am thrilled with results you are so talented keep up the great work and looking forward to trying other patterns of yours .
Hi Polly, Thank you so very much for making such a great and easy to follow tutorial. I am terrible at reading patterns and have learning disabilities so this has been a true gift for me. Thanks again.
thanks for getting back to me. some seriously beautiful squares. i like seeing the color combos that some of the crocheters use. i've got 5 done and will continue until i can get a blanket put together. i just go to your video and start. haven't gotten it memorized yet, lol
first thing first let me say thank you for making this tutorial. the design demand full attention and energy.hands up to you! I really enjoy your video, it's clear and your work is so neat.
Thank you for the video, I'm an intermediate crocheter I guess, but I'd never attempt a pattern with this many different levels, having the video means I will give it a try! I hope you plan to make more for your other blocks. :-)
This has been a wonderful pattern to work! Your tutorials are easy to follow. Thanks for not goung to fast & repeating instructions, it really helps! Great job!!!

Hi i'm trying to find the full pattern of the Blizzard Warning but can't seem to pull it up, can you help me please. I am stuck at round 7. thank you a big fan Patresa Phelps
really good tutorial. could pretty much follow along just listening. i made a mistake in the last round but it was mine and and nothing from the video. good job and my square-even with the mistake turned out pretty good. going to make another one and figure out what i did wrong.
I have no idea what I did wrong, I had to remake half of it twice and I made something wrong but not the same wrong 😭😭 Im currantly on row 8 and I'll take a break because I've been on this project for 5 hours!!! I will just roll with this now I don't have the patience to redo it again. I'll come back tomorrow and update when I'm finished 😅
Don't particularly like the magic circle how many chains would I need to start the Blizzard warning square Thank you so much for this beautiful pattern.
Probably 4, if it's too tight try 5. Afterwards you may need to weave your end in under the puffs and pull the hole closed tight. That's just if the center doesn't want to lay flat.
Hello. Just finished Round 4. My square is measuring 6" when you called for barely 5". You stated gauge is important. Why does it make a difference? If my snowflake is 6" at this point, won't it just end up being larger than yours? What's the big deal? I just want to get it right. Not worried about gauge. Thanks in advance.
It's only important if you are trying to get a 9" square. If yours is an inch bigger now it may be 10 or close to 11 inches when done.. If you're ok with that then it's perfect :) I just finished my first square and at the end of round 4 i only had 4" after finishing the whole square it measures 7". :)
I can't seem to locate how much yarn is required for the 9 or 12 square, could you help? This is a beautiful project for a winter season blanket, thanks so much.
+Doneva Fellows I haven't made an afghan out of them myself, but several Ravelry members have. Check out the projects page here: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/blizzard-warning/people. Just scroll down a bit and you'll see there are several afghan projects. I hope that helps! Sorry for the late reply. I must remember to check back here more often :)
@@everytrickonthehook4304 thank you for responding. I'm looking at this on my phone, and I still cannot see where on the page to find the link to the PDF. Please will you provide the PDF link? Or let me know where on the page to find it? 🧡🧡
@@SuzyJarman the hexagon PDF is linked in the bullet points under "some things to keep in mind", you need the first few rounds of the hexagon if you're making the square. And the additional rounds for the square are linked right after the video on the square's page.
Thank you so much for your expert teaching. You took your time, explained everything in detail. I wish all instructors were like you. Thank you

The Pattern is really beautiful, but the Puff stiches are horrible to crochet and the main reason I don't wanna do it again.
