@@KhashenzoBill Alexander did not invent the wet on wet painting technique. This method of painting is called 'alla prima', and has been used since the early to mid 1400s. However, Bill was the first in recorded history to precoat the canvas with a layer of very thin, liquid white paint, and mixing the colours with it right there on the canvas for special effect. He also developed the concept for the 'magic white' paint, and had a chemist make it for him.
