wileyk209zback Probably because the Wheelock lawsuit had a big impact on them from a financial standpoint. But it's probably been that way even before then, but the lawsuit took place in 2008 after Wheelock sued because the UMMT and U MHU were too similar to Wheelock's devices tone wise and so now Siemens makes relabeled Wheelock AV's.
EST seems to be gaining quality again with the IO64 and IO500. I wish I could say the same about the EST3 system at Chinook Centre in Calgary, Alberta. Last time I was there, it had 7 supervisory troubles, 11 monitoring troubles, and 71, yes, SEVENTY ONE, other troubles, mostly tamper valves and some circuits. Southcentre Mall (also in Calgary) has a Siemens MXL that works incredibly well, but has 11 troubles. Don't worry, though, those are just disabled devices due to construction for new stores.
For everyone’s information, the lawsuit was over Faraday synchronization technology. And I don’t know how you can denounce something as “cheap garbage” without having experience with it.
@@ironmatic1 I've heard quite a few negative things about working with Siemens panels, and the faults they tend to have. Pretty similar to EST. Also firefreak57, Wheelock now actually makes the ZNS horn/strobe exclusively for Siemens. Everyone else has to use the Exceders or the MTs.
That is true I've seen a whole bunch of Wheelock alarms rebranded by Siemens just newly installed at the urgent care building!!!! They were replacing an old Symplex voice evac system!!!!
Here's the story . -NewAgeServerAlarm - Siemens got sued by wheelock because siemens products were too similar to wheelock alarms . So siemens can't manufacture their own things . They have to rebrand wheelocks
+tornadofreak1994 Actually it was a legal agreement between the two companies ending sometime this year. The Siemens merger infringed Wheelock's patents.
Some of the fire alarms are dead and some of them are using code 3
I like the sound of those bit not for 10 minutes lol. Great video
Since the late 2000s, Siemens has become cheap garbage, almost as bad as EST (if not as bad.)

I don't know how they even can sue for a sound that's like when Harley Davidson tried to paten their engine sound

Very interesting seeing a horn only Wheelock device in the beginning
Siemens av's and the zns
Nice
Wheelock ZNH at the beginning
Looks like a federal building...
Well, Siemens does rebrand Wheelock products.

Wheelock actually exclusively makes the Z-series for Siemens now. Everyone else has to use the Exceders.

ZNSs
+weatherdan882002 I noticed you haven't been making videos lately.
Haven't really had the chance to make any, I've been very busy.
I have some stuff that I've been meaning to record, but it probably won't happen for a while yet.
first in comments :D
Those are siemens AS
+Upgrader1134 yay yay No, they just have a sticker over the wheelock branding.
+tornadofreak1994 Siemens did copy the Wheelock ZNS though.
+Can't Think Of Name I dont doubt it

+tornadofreak1994 Why did you blur out private things?
