Two awesome bikes they each have very different characteristics . Had a 87 evo classic , now have a 07 Ultra .They have had there own different traits and enjoyed each equally . Bob J
@@AAAskeet Evos are good! They are not for a young person who wants speed, you have to learn how to do your own work as the dealers wont have much to do with them...but : as a working almost-vintage bike that you can own for years theyre unbeatable.
I had a 93 with Bartel slip-ons that looked like the slip ons on the fuel injected bike and i was always last in line going anywhere. That was because everyone refused to be behind those Bartels. Too frigin loud. I loved them.
You really just compared an evo to a twin cam. They didnt even have the same exhausts. There are too many things different about the bikes to determine the impact that the fuel system has on the engines sound.
the exhaust isn't the difference, it is the carb vs inj. If you knew anything about it, you would know the Harley Giddy-Up sound at idle that everyone loves is caused by the misfire using a carb.
with onions and green peppers fried in a skillet with 4 eggs scrambled some sausage links and two pieces of buttered toast not to toasted but still a little bendy so I can scoop up what's left of my eggs and make a yummy breakfast sandwich
You can't even compare these. 2 completely different color seats
LOL. Was thinking Road King, but man, never realized how throaty the Fatboy sounds! BEAT! I'd buy to just listen to it!
To listen you can buy only the carburetor engine with the pipes.
@Jot_Pe lol

this isn't a fair comparision... these are 2 completely different engines... you're comparing a fuel injected Twin Cam to a carb'd evo.
Evos sound so good

@@David-og7di agreed.the FI twin cams sound can never compare to a carbed EVO at idle.Pure joy.

True.

Big difference, in my opinion.
