- After almost a year, this MAP is done!! thanks to everyone for making this project posible.
I'm not very good with descriptions, but I'm gonna say I'm so grateful to everyone that worked hard on this, all those hours, sweat an tears put into each part. Thanks a ton!

Okay idk if anyone’s mentioned this yet but like at 3:05 when he says “he will have his revenge” (obviously we know he’s referring to himself), with everything happening currently in the new arc in warriors, if Ashfur is the one possessing bramblestar, this fits even MORE PERFECTLY

This is so well paced! I actually got chills during the gathering scene! I love how it has sort of a “slow burn” quality to the storytelling. It stays fairly held back for as long as needed, and then during the scenes where the story starts to turn, it becomes much faster and frantic! It’s really hard to have something like that in a collaborative project, so props to you! Can’t wait to see what you do next!!

Anyway, great job on the MAP everybody! It was amazing! As I said above, it fits so well! I'd like to imagine Hollyleaf and Ashfur in Starclan, her trying to help him realize he was in the wrong, and him being all "nah lmao she friend-zoned me, therefore begone thot."
I had never heard of Sweeny Todd prior to maps like this. It's amazing how you can get from something you like, to discovering other new and interesting things like this.

Someone should make an au where Jayfeather is Squirrelflight and Ashfur’s son.
Just an idea that popped in my head, anyone have any ideas on how the story could change from there? I think it would be interesting because Jayfeather neither resembles Crowfeather or Leafpool, unlike his brother and sister.
EDIT: Okay so I've flushed this au out a little more. (It does contain a few plot holes)
Leafpool and Crowfeather "got together" around the same time as Squirrelflight and Ashfur. When Leafpool told her about the kits she was going to have, Squirrelflight easily agreed to the plan of taking them in, for two reasons. She already looked pregnant, due to her kit, and so it would be easy to pass of the birth of the rest of them. She was also afraid if she gave birth to Jayfeather, and Brambleclaw figured out he was Ashfur's, Brambleclaw would push her away. So if she took in her sisters kits, if the time arose where the secret was revealed of Leafpool's affair with Crowfeather, she could say Jayfeather was also Leafpool’s kit. She told Leafpool her reasoning behind accepting the plan, not wanting to manipulate her sister. Leafpool agreed to take the responsibility of Jayfeather's mother should the secret be revealed in turn for her sister’s service. (Then again SF so could probably just lie to BC that JF was theirs, so uhhhhh)
They then gave birth the same day and Squirrelflight took both kits, raising them to be her and Brambleclaw’s.
It would mess with the fact Yellowfang told her she was infertile, but other then that I think it could align with the plot pretty well.
Of course, would Jayfeather ever find out who his real parents were? Would Brambleclaw? I dunno.
(Also @McKenna Johnston's idea of Ashfur wanting revenge is a great addition)

This is so good! I would assume hollyleaf would either torment or make up with ashfur in starclan but you somehow made her do both and I love it! I also love sweeny Todd so I'm glad this is a thing! It fits so well because she acts more frantic a when she tells her point of view as if it's hard for her.. I love this map.

The ending of this map is even more perfect with the recent reveal!
I like how when Ashfur says "NOO!" he stomps his paw into the water and it literally did nothing.
tbh I found that bit incredibly underwhelming in facial expression. Like, not hating on the animator and their work, but...
He's trying so hard but it's oh so difficult to make things move when you're a ghost you see. Being incoporeal and all really puts a wrench in your plans for dramatics.
It’s really ironic how the last lines fit into the current ark, as when you would’ve started it, the broken code wouldn’t have began
the story of ashfur shouldve ended like it was supposed to, with hollyleaf being truthful when she said she and him were beginning to get along well in starclan. it shouldve been genuine (for the sake of ashfurs arc) that he change his ways. it made no sense for the team to draw his “story” out as long as they did; plus, we wouldnt have lost a dear character (who i wont name for spoilers sake) by the end of it. ash had an obsession, he acted out on it in a terrible way, and he paid for it with his life. something that drastic shouldve been the turning point for him in which he actually questioned his behavior and changed. instead we got the latest arc… cant say im happy with it.
And then we get the broken code....
And Ashfur shows up XD

i havent been keeping up with the newest books but this mixed with the high probability that Ashfur is posessing Bramblestar is PERFECT. ESPECIALLY the last part where it zooms in on his eyes

The premise of this MAP, especially near the ending, actually syncs up extremely well to the current arc, The Broken Code, where Ashfur takes over Bramblestar's body to get revenge on the living.
Ash fur meant ‘he would have his revenge’ quite literally, if he ends up being there imposter

I am stunned. This map was just.. AH! I am squealing! You people are my blessings! Thank you! Ashfur and Hollyleaf bring back memories from the book when there animated together. Squirrelflight and Brambleclaws mini quarrel was gold! All animators did beautiful work! I’m not kidding. This is beautiful! The end when Ashfur said ‘ and he will get his revenge. . . ‘ and then Hollyleaf walked away, was emotional. This was beautifully done. The Thumbnail Contest Winner art was very well done. Had to add that in. Thank you for creating this masterpiece. All of you. Great job.

This is so amazing! So much heart must have been put into this, and the animation is so smooth. I really like the idea of having HollyLeaf and AshFur remembering their tragic past in Starclan together. Both sides of their stories were told, and it gives the sense of justification for both characters. Thank you to everyone who helped make this masterpiece! :D

I forget that the authors of Warrior Cats were actually British so their characters probably all had British accents
Aside from my general fanboy babbling about how enthused I am that there's so many more new Sweeney Warriors MAPs, thank you so much for unintentionally making me realize how much I like Helena Bonham Carter's voice for Hollyleaf. I'd never considered it before, but it actually works really well for me now that I've seen that voice come out of that character.

I feel so bad for squirrel’flight at the end, at the start she was kind of… entitled? She was living her best life while others “suffered” I guess, but she didn’t deserve what ashfur did, why did they gotta make ashfur a villain all of a sudden?
