It’s a really weird way to put pressure on the QB. It’s kinda awesome though how there’s literally 2 or 3 offensive linemen standing around while the QB Is getting sacked or having to rush to get the ball out because no one is covering the ends or all the guards are busy while the center and a tackle are doing literally nothing.
This cover 0 defense was actually the same thing that the Patriots used in Super Bowl 53. That cover 0 blitz actually forced Goff's Pick as mentioned here. Goff and Mcvay should've learned from this. But looks like they didn't. Greatest plays to beat cover 0 are quick slants and curl routes.
They definitely knew they were gonna see some zero pressure, but the thing that spooked Goff for the rest of the game was when they faked Zero and dropped a lineman back to pick him off

Too many bodies crowd the line that pre snap Id’s have to be perfect. The thing is the wrinkle you said. Sometimes it’s pure and other times it’s not.
