the black wire ( not the antenna)
isnt connected to the box
does that affect it

My one doesn't work, i use it and if i just slightly tap the trigger the rc just keeps going and turns into a wall.

take it apart and put a mamba max pro esc and motor in it... then the slow will be 50+ mph :D Oh and put some LiPo power in it
