BH - I'm old enough to remember when Level 7 / "Tapping" was considered brand new and the absolute top of the metal guitarist mountain! Then, when Nitro's first album came out MAB again set the bar even higher by pulling a level 14 / "Sweep Picking" AND playing leads with one and and the harmonies of those leads with the non-dominate hand using a 2nd neck! Impressive! Luv your content! : )
Hey I got the first 11 👍. Then I got 19 and I guess 20 down as well cuz I know when to shred and when not to shred but I don't know how to shred so there's that.
I'm going with: 0 = I don't have a guitar -1 = What's a guitar? -2 = I pay other people to play the guitar for me -3 = Guitarettes. It's like Tourette's, but instead of an uncontrollable need to swear/twitch/whatever, you have an uncontrollable need to smash any guitar you see. -4 = Lil Wayne
@@ApothecaryTerry more like 0.7= i can play wonderwall and play better lead then nick jonas 0.5= i own a ukulele 0= i dont play guitar - 1 think a guitar and bass are the same -2 nick jonas level -3 machine gun kelly level -500 lil wayne level
I find it so funny how people hate the solos on 72 Seasons, yet it's the same type of solos we've been hearing from him. He always shreds. Now everyone thinks it's illegal for him to do those solos lol. Get a grip, posers. No one cares about you.
@@andreviews7101it’s not that the writing of the solos are bad (however some really are), but it’s the shit preformance that makes it unbearable, and drenched in Wah way too much, even on the black album, some of em weren’t that good.
@@unleashthebloodthirst69420 He always used wah. He starting using it more frequently in the Black Album. You know he will never overcome his 42 year old addiction of WAH. NEVER. And he will still use it until the day he retires from music. He doesn't care what you think, he will still wah wah like a baby.
I think the hardest think it's the sence of combination of shredding shuffled with memorable melodies in a context. These kind of videos motivates me to study when the things go better. The fact that you don't need to roast (in a bad way) to others makes you even better.
Right, new subscriber. These modes and scales never sink in. What you’ve done is literally layout a perfect example of what each one should be….it’s beginning to click
Awesome video! I felt like some of the early ones could have been structured differently but you checked all the boxes pretty much! The last few going up to 20 were really helpful and insightful, I'd love more on topics like these please! I'm working on level 8 but could use some work on the natural minor and the shapes on the fretboard for it.
You forgot about two-handed tapping! But I mean proper two-handed tapping, playing a melody around the neck, not just when people call normal tapping "two-handed tapping", presumably just because they're still using both hands (obviously)... Mr favourite example is Claudio Pietronik's solo in To the Master of Darkness (band is Ancient Bards). Not that anyone should care what my favourite example is, but it's a beautiful solo and a great demonstration of the technique if you don't already know what it is.
i think that if there is level -10 then that would be my level. I'm playing for 6 years ad i think i am decent at playing rythm but solos and shredding is a completly different story, i tried intro solo from "fade to black" and that was a nightmare. it was a couple months ago and still i cant play it, but i've tried learning aesthetics of hate by machine head and to the point where solo begins i'm doing well. But i could not play the solo, so i gave up. but the for 2 months i was training every day for 3 hours and when recenty tried playing this solo it wasnt that bad. but i dont think that i will be ever able to reach your or other great shredders level. but who knows...
I am somewhere between Level 7 and 9 because intersesting phrasing is what I focused on the most in the beginning. I didn‘t have much but tried to make it as unique as possible. Tapping is something I am still learning and adding something like that in a solo is very challenging for me. Basic Arpeggios is something I love to use.
im somewhere around level 19-20, although im not the most proficient at complex music theory knowledge i more-so songwrite and come up with phrases that sound cool to me and at heart im more of a musician i guess??? yeah pretty much

The hardest thing about shredding isn’t playing fast in and of itself, it’s the combination of speed while maintaining a melodic sense.
So true!
Yeah... But "more is more" -Yngwie
Kerry King disagrees xD

He's gonna give you the keys to the Lamborghini!! 🤘
Unbelievable playing Bradley! You are world class and very funny to go with it! What a combo!
Thanks very much ❤❤
i don’t think people appreciate how good of a guitar player you actually are
There should have been a section called "Actually following the rhythm chords"
I'm excited about how he switches pickups between levels more than playing. This is real skill
That might be the best solo I’ve ever heard in my life.
Yeah, this is really amazing :) !
Level 19 is often forgot. I love it that you mentioned it ❤❤❤
Hope you guys dig this! What level is your playing at??
I just got an acoustic guitar so zero?
minust threeps
That whole thing from level 1 to 20 would have been an amazing 80s metal guitar solo! Loved it!
About 7/8 with very small bits and pieces of other elements.
Hey I got the first 11 👍. Then I got 19 and I guess 20 down as well cuz I know when to shred and when not to shred but I don't know how to shred so there's that.
I'm on level negative 3! Fantastic video, really enjoyed it.
I'm going with:
0 = I don't have a guitar
-1 = What's a guitar?
-2 = I pay other people to play the guitar for me
-3 = Guitarettes. It's like Tourette's, but instead of an uncontrollable need to swear/twitch/whatever, you have an uncontrollable need to smash any guitar you see.

Wow so the first 2 levels was just Kirk on 72 seasons.
Not just on 72 seasons
And hardwired…

I use 19th technique all the time. It's so useful.
Wow! Those sweeps were so clean!
Sophisticated… as always!❤
Beanley, you are my hero.

Dude! You made that look easy. Very nice!
That actually sounded like if you put kirk hammets solos in backwards order from 72 seasons to kill em all as if It was one long solo
Right, new subscriber. These modes and scales never sink in. What you’ve done is literally layout a perfect example of what each one should be….it’s beginning to click
holy fuck this tone is killer
This isn't a solo, this is a whole song. I hope you put this on a Brainslug album.
I would say I’m at level 8-9 at most but this video was amazing! Makes me wanna practice more
same
Interesting to see how differently people play like I think tapping arpeggios is a lot harder than economy picking and I've practiced tapping more

I get more Beanley than Bradley in my feed. I do want more Bradley, but I'm glad I'm getting Beanley
For such a cheeky video that's some incredible skill
No wonder you had to clean the monocle, surprised you didn't have steam coming out of your ears by the end 🔥
Its about time. Real music. Now I can subscribe your channel. More please
That last note was the king note. "Branmp!"
That was Glorious
There are twenty kinds of shedders. Those who shred at fret one, those who shred at fret two...
I learn so much by watching your videos. Thanks for what you do fine sir!!!
Level 1 sounded perfectly fine!

God I wish I could self teach myself music theory, tapping and pinch harmonics. Wish I can play like you bro
I’m at level 2 but because of ADHD I already mastered alternate picking a while ago 😂
Loved this video! It was super entertaining🔥
Everything is so clean and clear. You rule
The tapped arpeggios spot was sick af my man. I am so stealing that. lol

Hello good sir, I most certainly cherished the observation of this video.
Tocas muy bien la 🎸
Good for you, bro!
Level 11! I was afraid that I’d be like 4 or something. Haha!
I’m so glad I signed up to your school, I want to accomplish all of these levels.
thats so sick mate
Fair play, that is worth a tip of the hat sir.
I'll tell you where I'm up to. Level 20.
As in watching your video all the way to level 20 to the end. 😊 🎸
I bid you good day squire. Cheerio.
This video is ridiculously useful. Hats off.
Level 21 - JAZZ EVERYTHING
You're something else man, my favourite yt guitarist and the only one I watch consistently
Sick owl cave tattoo
This is cool 😎
Insane vid, playing and mix too 🔥🗣
Absolutely brilliant!
I've just learned a terrible truth, i think Chancellor Hallsworth is a shred lord

A 2+ minute video to remind of how much I suck at guitar lol
Wow man this is such an awesome shredding solo I love it. Shred on.😃👍❤️🔥⚡️🎶🎸
Im on level 10 😔 Amazing work Breadley! Im trying to became a shredder, and watch your videos inspires me a lot.
I am unashamedly at the level of watching this video only
Shawn Lane would be proud 🦚
Dude you can fucking play! But you are also a great composer !
Very nice video. It actually shows your incredible skill.
I'm at level 6. 😀
This makes me want to shred my guitar and shred on my paperwork!

Hahahahah! I'm glad 19 was so high up on the list. So true, so funny.
Brutal!!!
Holy moly!!! My level is about 0.05 on this scale.
Good God Man
Just nearly at 12 gotta get my legato speed up
I'd say I'm reaching level 11 right now
Dude is really good at guitar 👌🏻
You are a fucking master but I think ive proggressed only to level 12 in about 7 months of playing still have A LOT to learn
Yeah I’m really only on the first levels lol. Always been more of a rhythm person.
Surprised that Ingwie Malmsteen is only Level 12.
I think i'm somewhere around lucky 13! And i'm okay with that!
ALWAYS go full shred.
I can go up to level 11-12, that makes me kinda proud 🥹
Oh boy, I'm all the way up to a 12, knocking on the door of a 13!
Man I suck at picking... And I really wish I didn't.
kinda need a kick up the arse with this for my own good. Might give this a go.
Shred lord lol sounds sweet
if level 12 is alternate picking, I’m a hell of a lot more experienced than i thought i was
Level 20 you turned the keys to the Lamborghini
im somewhere around level 19-20, although im not the most proficient at complex music theory knowledge i more-so songwrite and come up with phrases that sound cool to me and at heart im more of a musician i guess??? yeah pretty much
Eventually this turned into a Synyster Gates solo
Working on level 9, tho my tapping needs work too
