Taker is spot on. The moves are impressive but the character, the selling, the psychology, and the story are what’s most important. That’s what’s sorely missing from today’s product for the most part.

I think Logan deserves a lot of credit for the character work he’s done akin to what Taker is talking about. People care about his matches because his character is interesting. The actual wrestling is top-shelf, but he’s done a great job getting people invested in his character and storylines.
There are SO MANY non-high-risk wrestling moves. Any given RAW episode you see the same 20 moves over and over again. Just mix in a lot more and the audience won’t need high risk all the time.
