- The complete My Dog Buddy movie. Made in 1960, the main star is a dog called London, who was also the star of The Littlest Hobo movie and TV series. The Littlest Hobo movie was made in 1958, and the original TV series was made from 1963 to 1965. A remake of the TV series ran from 1979 to 1985, and starred London's grandson, who was also named London.
My Dog Buddy was incredibly hard to find for a long time. I originally uploaded it elsewhere on this channel in 7 parts because of YT time limits, but those constraints no longer apply - so here it is in a more convenient single post.
I've carried this movie in my memory with me for the past sixty-two years. I first saw it at The American movie theatre on East Main Street in Bridgeport, Connecticut. I was eight years old. I remember I cried inconsolably during the movie. My older brother chided me for years afterward because of my reaction to the film. He still does to this day. But I don't care. This movie and its simple story established sensitivity and empathy in me that I cherish as a part of me. And I wouldn't trade the man I am today for anything. Thank you so very much for posting "My Dog Buddy." I just turned seventy last week and I'm still balling my eyes out over this little movie. It's wonderful to realize the impact that the art of film has on our lives. Now, if you'll please excuse me, I need open another box of Kleenex.
Waited for years to see this movie. Thank you so much for uploading this movie.

My mom never missed "the littlest hobo".

I believe that Chuck Eisenmann listed in the credits, owner of London.!
Yes!!! I've been trying to find the DVD for the TV series to purchase. Can you please help me? Thank you in advance for any help you can give me. I love London.
Thank you. Loved watching London as The Littlest Hobo. Also a fan of Ken Curtis.
I thought for sure buddy and the boy who lost his parents in the car accident was going to get adopted by the married couple and their boy, so I was disappointed but otherwise it was a great movie. This movie was the basis of 2 Tv series called "The Littlest Hobo"
Love the first littlest hobo shows. I'm trying to find DVDs for the TV series. Thank you for the beautiful movie. Enjoyed it very much. ❤
Oh my heart 💜 Very touching!! I was crying when they found each other ❤️🐕 Man’s best friend ❤️🐕
I loved the original show so this is a great find. It's also really funny.
Thank you so much for airing this movie.

So awesome thank you so much my name is Candy Lemmond Perez
Travis is my brother C.B. is my dad & Lila is my aunt now all deceased do you by chance know where I can get a copy of the movie?
If the original film print still exists then it is probably locked up in some archival vault somewhere. Afaik this channel is the only place that it is available - so, if you want your own copy just download it, I doubt that a better quality copy will ever turn up.
Merci beaucoup....
Being born and raised in Dallas, this was the movie I wanted o see for my 8th birthday. I cried a lot. Watching again.
Where can I buy a dvd/vhs of this?
You can't. Never been released anywhere. Afaik this post is the only copy of it 'in the wild'.
Over the moon to be able to see this at last. I had assumed it was 'lost'. Many thanks.
A very beautiful dog story/movie
Do you have any other Ken Curtis movies?
No, sorry, I don't.
"The Killer Shrews" is uploaded on here from many RUclipsrs. Ken Curtis has a decent role in this movie & it's made by the same team that made "My Dog Buddy". Judge Henry Dupree (the black cop) also appears in both movies.
