No, but it will fix the issues that 5v5 created, which did not exist in 6v6. The issues we had in 6v6 were from no new characters and from shields too stronk.

That wouldn't even solve the problem. If you use Linux instead of Windows, you can use a virtual machine that can register different hardware components that are around the same or worse than your actual components and if you get banned you can just change your components and start again
it's not hard to get around hardware bans. people have been doing it for a long time

@derekpowersblight I don't cheat but I'm really interested in tech. Hardware banning people probably would stop a good chunk of the cheating community but there are definitely people that would know how to, to go to those lengths to cheat

Maybe they can iono write a file that is unique to a device and if the battle net client finds that hashed file to be from a banned account, it won't allow that device to play. But I guess if they running VM it's kinda in the air. Maybe also don't allow VMs if that can be checked. :D

I would rather watch 2 tanks dive a widow and somehow that widow is good enough to handle that pressure and keep clicking heads. Then to play 5v5 and watch her sit in the back as a genji and sombra feed their brains off trying to get them off the character. I use to hate 2 tanks in ow1 only because the dva would force me out of any angles. Even so, when I learned my way around that situation the kills felt more rewarding under the watch of 2 tanks. Ow2 feels like aim matters more so widow being learned as a dps player matters but I would rather play another type of game to snipe. Never been a fan of snipers in games with flying monkeys and cyborg ninjas.
Bro doesn’t remember what it’s like diving a window and having to get past two tanks in order to do so. You think 6v6 will solve all your problems and then realize neither of your tanks are diving the window and now you have two tanks you gotta deal with in order to get to her. Good luck
