It is not necessary to do but the selected temperature is more reliable when new soldering tips are calibrated. In this video I show you how it can be done and where to find it in the menu's
I am using a thermocouple but at the and of the video I show you a special designed thermometer for soldering tips.
Entering the KSGER menu
Press the rotary switch for 3 seconds
Select the menu what you want to change and press the rotary switch
Press the rotary switch for 3 seconds to leave the menu
Enter the tip select menu
Press the rotary switch and turn right
select the tip you are using and press the rotary switch.
Enter the calibration menu
Press the rotary switch and turn left
Follow the instructions in the video
