I would like to improve my soldering, but that would only be applicable if I actually started. Seeing Lord Voultar kinda inspires me to take the dead or expendable electronics and do unthinkable things to them
I was thinking of going to T254 tip type ,and rework it to the 5 pin , or buying a 5 pin T254 pen wand to use 254 . would this be worth it ? or is it better to stay with T12 ?

thanks for the upload, my soldering setup is HOT GARBAGE lol i burn myself everytime, and honestly its a miracle our success rate is as high as it is 😅
Are you sure the solder isn’t affecting the temperature probe? Seems the tip will always be hotter than the solder. So you are calibrating for the solder temperature not the iron tip temperature
I have a 60-72-pin adapter first, so I can play Famicom games thru it, and what is plugged in there now is my RAM Cart Adapter for the Famicom Disk System.

The KSGER is decent, but far from flawless.

The solder is actually what is transferring the heat.

Sure is! I know Voultar is very deliberate about his pronounciations, which is cool, but for me I will forever pronounce it "Soddering"
