aww gotta love Bibi Andersson and Gunnel Lindblom 12:05 chilling on the set of Viskningar. It's not a coincidence that everytime that I watch and rewatch for the hundreth time a Bergman movie, it feels like a bunch of friends and known faces living a story together (aside from Serpent's egg, The Touch, and maybe his very early movies)

So nice. Thank you for your labour of love.I loved your essay, very well reasearched and lovely executed. It was fascinating. Greetings from a newly obsessed fan of Bergman. I have all his films and books. He has become my mentor and firm safeguard in our insane shallow world.

3:40 I think that the TV version of "Scenes from a marriage" was also popular in Sweden.

Very hard film to watch have to be in the right mood but its great. One of those films you don't necessarily enjoy while watching but sticks with you and is on your mind days after watching it. Doesn't feel like a 70s film at all either the camera work is extraordinary and it feels contemporary. Had never seen this until about a year ago when I recorded it on TCM and have read everything I can find about it, really excited to find this video.

Love this. I'm not sure that is a Mitchell they're using for the interiors, though; it's hard to see, but it might just be the Arriflex they used for the exteriors in a blimp. I once looked at buying an Arri 3c from the much missed Lee's Cameras in London but gave up on that when they told me the blimps are lined with lead and weigh about 200 pounds.
