I love this film, I love John C. Especially directing and writing for Gena Rowlands. I love how she spoke about not understanding how John C. Was able to capture women so truthfully, so painfully raw. I always thought Gena Rowlands and everyone in the limo did see the girl the first night and witness her death on the street, but between the girls youth, the love and admiration for Gene's character as an actress, and the trauma of Gene's characters safety over the girl getting run over and the trauma of not helping more sent her in a spiral. All the characters in the limo talk about the girl, they tall about her at the hotel when Gems calls the police.. I always thought Gena's character projected both the sins of youth through the young girl that died with the lust flr youth Joan Bomb ellos character did & wrote. But that is just a but of my interpretation. Like, I view this as an even more psychological Black Swan. But, based on how Gene spoke how her character and her psychology, I'm not sure if that's more or.less relevamt.

Gene Hackman is a brilliant actor!! I only wish he had continued on making movies for longer than he did. He’s a real nice guy as well when you watch this interview. You can really admire him, he went out and made all this happen despite getting umpteen rejections and knock backs early on in his career.

I really hope we get an extended cut in the future, I'd buy it immediatly ❤

A painful, confounding and enchantingly horrific film; layers like the skins of a psychological onion. Stays with you always Back in the 90s it was VERY difficult to find in the west -or at least it took me a long time to track down. Always wondered if and how much it impacted Barker's Hellraiser

What great insight from one of the masters of this craft. Love Gene. So many great roles. Just a powerhouse of an actor. Really appreciate him. Also read that he hated playing royal tanenbaum but he was so funny in that movie and did a great job. It’s one of my favorites so I appreciate him for still giving a great performance.

Another one of those computer generated videos from a video farm. My evidence is the narration does not begin until ten seconds and in the middle of a sentence with what can only be described as a child's voice. Just another trick by the manufacturers to make you want to listen.

Watched this movie yesterday, and first thing today morning just to make sure it was all real and not a dream. I can't stop reading, writing, thinking all about it. As Roger Ebert said, a movie like this will never be made again.
