I think we need to start referring to them as Dull Properties because that's the amount of decoration and character their properties have appearance wise. Thanks for enduring another one for the team!
This was your best video EVER! Joking… I know you hate Hull, but I will still hold the fact that if they didn’t buy them, these malls would probably be gone. A Hull mall is better than no mall. 😂😂😂
During this video I was thinking to myself why so many visually beautiful malls on the inside crumbled and a bunch of Hull Malls are still standing. To me it's so ironic. People in the United States like going to ugly malls?
@@chrisexplores1 Ewww, I wouldn't want to think how uglified how Signal Hall would've gotten, if Hull took over. Would've just been another one of these garbage remodels.....
Thank you so much for this one Doomie! This is a mall I've wanted to at least virtual tour for a few years now. I always found it to be perhaps the most charming small mall that I'm aware of. I've never seen a mall this small with that decent of a food court. Charleys generally avoids small regional malls like the plague, no matter how well the occupancy is and DQ is almost extinct from malls these days. I also didn't know this place was as big as it is. That was a decent walk between Sears and Belk. Also, I wasn't expecting ANY of the anchors here to be multi-level. I see why this Sears lasted as long as it did. It certainly looks NICE!
This is by far the best Hull mall performance-wise I've seen. There is one in Connecticut FleaBitten Adventures did which is fairly dead, and my local mall, Whitney Field, dying. I'm sure you know what they look like, because it's the exact same, down to the word salad walls that say the exact same thing at every mall, except they switch out the name of the town. You can see more of the word salad, and history walls at Whitney Field, and that other place I can't remember, being one is dead, and Whitney is dying.
Someone finally does a video on the mall closest to me and it inspires nothing but apathy. Seems about right. Also, I wasn't aware of the graveyard there and would've appreciated it being more than a foot note in the video. That said, thanks for alerting me to it existing.
Looks kind of like the Macon Mall, but the Macon Mall is 2 stories high, and yes, Hull property group owned it before the city bought it, a couple years back
To be blunt, many think I'm trying to be funny when I trash malls like this, but when they're so uninteresting & boring, I'm trying to create my own fun, which isn't getting easier, and frankly would rather avoid places like these altogether. When you've seen the exact same aesthetic in nearly a dozen malls, with a dozen more looking as cookie cutter as this, you'd get tired of it real fast too.
Looks like Cary Towne Center Mall in Cary, North Carolina that had Belk, Penney’s, Sears, and Macy’s...Sears closed and then the domino effect came when they closed leaving Belk as the only anchor left until 2019. It has been demolished.
1st. Don't you love it when they dry wall over all the empty stores? I haven't been in there for a few months but it looks just like it did the last time I was in there. They haven't even bothered to take down the Sears signage. If you want to go to a really DEPRESSING mall go to Eastridge Mall in Gastonia NC.
I think the interior is ok. My main issue is all the corny looking overhead signs with Concord, Shine, sunglasses, beach stuff. Then, all the signs promoting Lake Norman which is at least 30 minutes away from this mall, but more like an hour because traffic around there is the worst. There are a lot of greenways in the immediate Concord area that the mall could promote.
You should visit the Blue ridge mall in Hendersonville, NC. It is a hull mall and is actually getting a lot of attention we are supposed to be getting a lot of big stores.
About a good 7 minutes of no talking. This video was dull and relaxing all at the same time. The best thing after his commentary is to just close your eyes and enjoy the music.
i think malls coming back because amazon is slowing down, nothing last forever i see a different in amazon today iam in california and i dont see delivery like it was before
Looks like a great mall! I really liked the carpeting! Must have been a slow day there, people will come from all around to see a exciting mall as this!
The thumbnail for this video was possibly the ugliest I've ever seen on this channel. The New Bern Mall thumbnail was gorgeous compared to this one. LOL!
In the (paraphrased) words of Dan bell, "This mall looks like Iike a giant dentist office" I have never seen a more boring bath and body works in my whole life

Somebody get this man a Snickers bar… he’s a hangry Hank… 🍫
Glad to see a book store. I love books.
Someone at Hull Property Group is delusional. 1982 called and grandma wants her carpet and light fixtures back……
Hi Doomie
The mall looked pretty desolate. I always enjoy your videos. You have a great voice.

Your channel is inspiring and great footage !
Thanks for your entertaining and informative videos!
It’s crazy how all those Hull malls are exactly the same! Reminds me of my hometown Danville Mall.

Love the variety of BEIGE.......

Apathy edition. LOL! 🤣I like that Doomie. The next Hull Mall that you cover, put torture edition.

Great video Doomie! That mall looks like an outdated airport terminal, pretty bland!
I was wondering, "Where's the gate for my connecting flight?"
@@jenniferburchill3658 Exactly! 😂
For his 10k subscriber special I say we make Doomie go to Costco.
We’re in it for the long HULL! 😂😂😂
Looks like a pretty average mall to me. Nothing too eye catching but at least it’s a fully functional mall. I don’t see what’s wrong with it?
Hull does these dull renovations to malls where they look like offices.

Is it? I've been there, and it looks even emptier than New Bern Mall.
Why are the malls around NC just using Carpet now? I don't get it.
Doomie, you're FUNNY!
Yes, he's hilarious.🤣😂😊
That carpet and the filth underneath it 🫣

Do you think they will remodel Citrus Park Mall in Tampa, FL. Hull owns that mall.
not any palace of a mall but has some "Backrooms" live action gaming feel
You should really go to East ridge mall in Gastonia. You will have fun.
Already been there. Doesn't look like much has changed.
many of the escalators are down now and Spencer's is going to close

SMH at myself. I bought takeout for this video.🙁Bad decision. I should've waited a little longer to find out what video was going to be uploaded.
hey brah you go to signal hill mall in statesville yet?
