Man I have to sit back and laugh at myself, at the time these commercials were released I complained about them and went out of my way to avoid them but here I am , enjoying them and going out of my way to watch them, thanks for the good times my friend
You’re doing the Lord’s work. As someone who remembers a pre-9/11 world, channels like yours help me remember that a past full of such optimism, attitude, and verve did, in fact, exist.
4:28 I remember that A1 commercial: "It gets you here, and it gets you right here" said with a New York accent. 😂 So much early 90's energy, I love it!
I hold the early and mid 90s close to my heart given how old I was during this era. Because tv, movies, cartoons and commercials just created a laid back type of atmosphere then. Especially the commercials. Which is why we're here. Also...can we talk about the government created virus in the Stephen King series 😳
1994.....I was seventeen!!! I remember watching that Stand miniseries on ABC; all those "Superflu" scenes are weird to see after all that pandemic stuff we've been going through. Also, I'm currently reading Tommy and the Order of Cosmic Champions. Great book.
I remember those Tinactin ads as a kid. It wasn't until 2002 when I started getting interested in football that I learned John Madden was a commentator. Would be some more years after that when I learned what a legend of the game Madden was. 8:44 Somehow, I knew the ad was going to be something weight loss related before the lady even said a word. I'll bet nobody in Orlando thought the Magic wouldn't win a title with Shaq and Hardaway. "Looks like a pump, feels like a sneaker." I'm a dude, but I'm still going to call bullshit on that one.
I was five when this aired. Ah, the sheer looks of these ad spots and TV text and graphics are just a thing of beauty~ it's funny how much of the clothing from that JC Penny ad are back!
In ALL the years I've been collecting VHS, I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've come across tapes of "The Stand" in my travels; many of them with the commercials cut, but some from NYC (like this one), DC, New Orleans and Atlanta
While I did not really have a good childhood more like a mediocre or moderate one.. regardless I feel the same. Growing up is a scam. I miss being a child in the 90's soo much it hurts!

I don't remember some of these commercials. Maybe a select few. I remember the Autozone, Dr. Scholl's, Wagner Power Painter, and a few others. Just because my dad remembers them, too. I miss that.
So much more creativity, charm...more contemplative. A sense of restraint. Now every second ad is over saturated colors, annoying, and a highly compressed hip-hop beat in the background.
That damn Little Caesar's poodle has been making me laugh for almost 30 years

Awesome 👍😎.
@4:45 terabytes?! The first terabyte hard drive wasn’t available until 2007… we were barely messing around with gigabytes then, that’s crazy.
The Ford Taurus commercial cracked me up, if only people knew then what a total piece of crap it was.
No PC was even close to sniffing Terabyte storage back in 1994😅
The Stand..the original was much better than the Amazon Prime(or was it Paramount + ?) series..
